This is not about being perfect. It is not about competing with the best. It is about dedication, consistency, and the willingness to keep learning despite life's many responsibilities. Every step she takes reflects her hard work, discipline, and love for classical dance.

At NIICD, we believe that dreams have no age limit. Geetanjali's journey inspires every mother, every woman, and every individual who has ever thought, "Is it too late for me?" The answer is no. It is never too late to begin.

Alarippu in Bharatanatyam may look simple at first, but it is actually a very complex and foundational item.
It is the opening piece of a Bharatanatyam recital and represents the blossoming of the dancer — just like a flower slowly blooming. The word “Alarippu” itself means to blossom.

Guru Vandana is not just a tribute, but a heartfelt expression of gratitude towards the Guru — the guiding light who transforms rhythm into devotion, movement into expression, and discipline into art. Through every step, gesture, and emotion in dance, we bow with respect and thankfulness to our Guru for nurturing our soul with wisdom, grace, and the true essence of culture and tradition.

Through the graceful language of Kathak, Krishna Leela comes alive with divine beauty, playful charm, and soulful devotion. Every chakkar, every mudra, and every expression reflects the eternal bond between the devotee and Shri Krishna.
The rhythmic footwork and expressive storytelling of Kathak beautifully portray the innocence of Bal Gopal, the mischief of Makhan Chor, and the divine love that touches every heart.
This presentation is not just a dance performance, but a spiritual journey where art becomes devotion and rhythm becomes prayer.

We feel truly blessed to learn under his guidance and seek his blessings always.

On this auspicious occasion, we also express our sincere respect and gratitude to Chief Divisional Officer of Delhi Fire Service, Bhupinder ji, whose gracious presence adds great honor and inspiration to this celebration.
