N.S.S PGDAV College triumphantly organized a 2-day yoga session on the occasion of 'international yoga day'. Its second day was inaugurated by our guest speaker Mr. ACHARYA NARENDRA- president of Swanubhuti and Yoga expert. First, the opening ceremony started with a Sanskrit shloka by the Archarya. He exquisitely explained every basic step of yoga particularly he emphasize to do all the asanas without any mental stress. Overall, We were able to cover all the asanas with utmost precision and guidance.

So here are the glimpses of our successfully organized event.

NSS PGDAV (M) on the favorable occasion of International Day of Yoga presented two days of yoga online sessions. On the 20th of June, the honorable guest for the session was Shri Ram Kishore Goyal Ji.
The session started with the prayer and carried on with the speech of Shri Ram Kishore Goyal Ji in which he highlighted the physical and mental benefits of yoga and its significance in our day-to-day busy lifestyle.
This session covered activities mainly focusing on the elbow, shoulder, and hands. Also, he covered rough daily routines for youngsters pointing to time management and diet. At last, the session with QnA session and two of the prayers.

The NSS pgdav's annual fest went smoothly.
All of the competition winners got certificates and awards at the end of the day, and the fest judges gave a vote of gratitude to all of the teachers, participants, and attendees.
All of the members, heads, and mentors of NSS Pgdav were successful in putting up their event.
Like a peaceful and soothing blue ocean, the hectic day came to an end.

The event started with great enthusiasm with our guest speaker Mr Nilay Aggarwal.
With his insightful views on social service, we carry forward our 1st event Enact- monologue competition gave a chance to young minds to showcase the power of words. Celebration is not complete without the lively force so Hunar- Pwd talent hunt magnifies the glory of the event which includes dance, music, and a lot more. Finally, to accelerate the exultation in the celebration of Faceoff- a battle of imagination and transformation took place. Also, we had Riwayat- slum area women's Mehndi Competition.
Overall, we can put forward all the events with utmost precision and pulled down the curtain of this amazing event.

N.S.S PGDAV College organized its Annual Fest SEVAARTH'22 with great enthusiasm. It was a 1-day event that was inaugurated by our guest speaker Mr. Nilay Aggarwal- Founder of the Vishalakshi Foundation.

First, an opening ceremony took place as a cultural function in which Mr. Nilay Aggarwal gave a brief introduction about the Vishalakshi Foundation like how he put the pillars of this Foundation and how his journey went through till now. Also, he appreciated the work of the National Service Scheme and the volunteers who are continuously striving for social change.

NSS PGDAV in collaboration with WE THE BHARAT NGO Conducted a survey in the Dera Village, Chattarpur regarding the opening of the library in the village.

The people of the village were very hospitable and cooperative and helped us in completing the survey. The survey revealed that most of the People in the village work in unorganised sector and have studied till 12th and only fistful number of people have received higher education but the positive response was that the people of the village know the value of education and they want that their children to be highly educated and they also agreed to sent their girl child to the library for study but perturbed about their security. In some families, the women were more educated than men.

The youth's and children’s eyes were glittering with a lot of dreams but what they lack is how they will achieve their dreams. A library at such a place will add an edge for villagers to fulfilling their dreams and also conducive environment for the study will also be created in the village.

International Day of happiness is observed every year around the world on March 20. The International Day of Happiness is an UN-sponsored annual event that promotes happiness as a universal human right.
It also emphasises how important happiness is to humanity.

This year's International Happiness Day theme is set as ' Keep Calm, Stay Wise and Be Kind.' For one to achieve happiness and satisfaction in their life they need to keep cool and calm in every possible situation.
