Janki Devi Memorial College, National Cadet Corps 5DGBn in collaboration with Shri Shyam Charitable Blood Centre, successfully organised a Blood Donation Camp on the occasion of World Patient Safety Day on 16th September 2026 at the College Auditorium from 10:00 AM onwards.
The initiative aimed to create awareness about the importance of blood donation and to motivate students and staff to contribute to this noble cause. 🩺

The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation and upheld the values of service, compassion, and social responsibility, reaffirming that a single unit of blood can save multiple lives. As a token of gratitude, all donors were felicitated with certificates and water bottles. JDMC NCC was also honoured with a Certificate of Appreciation for its valuable contribution.

Rajbhasha Diwas at JDMC

On the occasion of Rajbhasha Diwas on 14 September, Principal Prof. Swati Pal delivered an insightful address highlighting the significance of language, with special emphasis on the importance of our mother tongue and Hindi.

She underscored the need to promote, preserve, and encourage the wider use of Hindi in our personal, academic, and professional spheres. Her address highlighted how language serves as a powerful medium for preserving our cultural identity, strengthening communication, and fostering a sense of unity and belonging.

The programme reflected the College’s commitment to encouraging the promotion and wider dissemination of Hindi and celebrating the richness of our linguistic heritage.

On the occasion of National Teacher’s Day, the enthusiastic volunteers of NSS JDMC actively participated in the Nukkad Natak and Poster Making competitions centered on the vital theme of “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao,” hosted at Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi, on 2nd September 2026.

At the prestigious Award Ceremony held on 4th September 2026 - jointly organized by Jan Sahyog Samiti, of District Magistrate (Old Delhi District), GGSIPU, Mata Sundri College for Women, and Karamchari Ekta Union - our students and faculty brought immense pride to the institution! 🏆✨

🥇 Abroo Parveen bagged the Gold Medal in the Poster Making Competition.
