the well-known KLE Society of Karnataka, the school recognizes the need for quality education for the children who are growing up to face an increasingly competitive world. This is one of the largest networks of institutions for higher studies and technical education in India. KLE will complete 100 years of its service in 2014. With the strong backing and expertise from the parent body, Basava has taken the route of innovation and out-of-the-box approach to school education. Basava has done extremely well in CBSE Board Examinations with students earning merit certificates at higher secondary level and scoring full CGPA at class X level. Its students take part in international programs. Academicians and environmentalists from other countries regularly visit the school. It also won the zonal basketball championship this year. Students from this school have been playing cricket for the states of Delhi and Uttar Pradesh. The school’s Environment Club is involved in the US-sponsored Globe Program. The school encourages its children to reach out to the underprivileged through planned and organized activities and the Interact Club works in coordination with various NGOs. Basava stands out in terms of care and innovations. It believes that our tradition and culture are like a buoy that prevents someone from going astray.
