A Week of Exploration, Creativity & Learning! ✨

The Social Science Department successfully organised Social Science Week 2026 for students of Grades III–XII from 10th–14th August, creating an engaging space for students to explore history, heritage, democracy, citizenship and the world around them through active learning.

From quizzes, creative tasks, presentations and research-based activities for our junior students to Classroom Gardens, Freedom Fighter Collages, Freedom Walls, Cartoon Galleries and Slogan Writing for our senior students, the week brought Social Science concepts to life beyond the classroom.

Students explored India’s cultural diversity, heritage and freedom struggle, while reflecting on constitutional values, democracy, responsible citizenship, the environment and nation-building. The activities encouraged them to express ideas, collaborate, think critically and connect academic learning with real-world experiences.

As part of the Independence Day celebrations, the week also became an opportunity for students to reflect on freedom, responsibility, democracy and the sacrifices of our freedom fighters making learning not just informative, but meaningful.

Before the week comes to an end, take a moment to pause, breathe, and appreciate the little things that made it meaningful.
A lesson that stayed with you. A friend who made you smile.
A challenge you overcame. A moment you’ll remember.
Gratitude reminds us that even ordinary days are filled with moments worth celebrating. 💙
