Mr. Jasbir Jassi– The Heartbeat of Punjabi Music
Our next speaker is one of the most respected names in the Punjabi music industry, known for his soulful voice, dynamic stage presence, and deep-rooted love for folk music. A first-generation musician, Jassi was trained in classical music under the tutelage of maestros like VS Jolly, Puran Shah Koti, and Ustad Shaukat Ali Khan. His music reflects the influence of spiritual guide Baba Kashmira Singh ji, inspiring him to look beyond boundaries and create music that unites.

From his debut song Channa Ve Teri Channani in 1993 to chart-topping albums like Dil Le Gayee, Kudi Kudi, and Akh Mastani, Mr. Jassi has continually evolved while staying true to his roots. His Bollywood hits like Laung Da Lashkara and Mel Karade Rabba further solidified his place as a versatile artist. Jassi's participation in Coke Studio, and reality shows like Dhoom Macha De and Voice of Punjab, showcased his Sufi soul and mass appeal.

A true believer that “Music is a religion of togetherness,” Jassi’s latest album Dhol celebrates Punjabi folk with energetic tracks that promise to make everyone dance. Humble, passionate, and deeply connected to his heritage, Mr. Jasbir Jassi continues to inspire generations through music.
