Report on Summer Carnival
The week long Summer Carnival for the Early Primary students was celebrated with great excitement, joy, and enthusiasm.The carnival provided children with wonderful opportunities to learn through fun-filled and engaging activities.
The celebration began with the “Gratitude to Sun” Collage Activity, where students creatively expressed the importance of the Sun in our daily lives. Children also explored and observed the Sun’s magic through interesting activities and experiments that enhanced their curiosity and observation skills.
Students enthusiastically participated in the Show and Tell Activity, where they confidently spoke about summer season objects and improved their communication skills. They also enjoyed preparing colourful and creative summer-themed collages that enhanced imagination and fine motor skills.
Another exciting part of the carnival was the Community Kitchen Activity, where children learned about healthy summer drinks, hygiene habits and teamwork through hands-on learning experiences.
Overall, the five-days Summer Carnival was a joyful blend of creativity, learning, confidence-building and fun. The students participated wholeheartedly and enjoyed every moment of the celebration.

Inter House Rhythmic Yoga Competition 13.5.26

The Primary Wing of our school proudly organized the Inter House Rhythmic Yoga Competition on May 13, 2026 in the school auditorium. The event was envisioned to nurture students’ mental well-being while fostering physical endurance, flexibility, concentration and inner harmony through the art of yoga.
The competition witnessed spirited participation from the four houses of the school — Integrity, Fraternity, Nobility and Unity. The young participants delivered graceful and synchronized performances. Beyond mastering various asanas, the students imbibed invaluable life lessons of perseverance, self-control, unity and collective spirit.
The event was honoured by the gracious presence of our esteemed judges, Mr. Shivam Sharma and the Middle Wing Headmistress, Ms. Charu Bhatnagar Ma’am. After a riveting and closely contested competition, Fraternity House emerged victorious through a unanimous decision.
The Primary Wing Headmistress, Ms. Shalu Dahiya, felicitated the winner along with the honourable judges. The programme concluded with an uplifting and motivational address by the judges, encouraging students to continue their journey towards physical fitness, mindfulness and self-discipline.
Overall, the competition stood as a splendid celebration of wellness, rhythm, discipline, and camaraderie, leaving the students enriched with confidence, inspiration and a deeper appreciation for the timeless practice of yoga.

ION 2026: A Confluence of Innovation and Excellence
Indraprastha International School, Dwarka, recently hosted ION 2026 on May 08, 2026, a spectacular inter-school tech odyssey that drew the brightest minds from over 50 premier institutions worldwide. This grand event was orchestrated under the visionary leadership of Dr. Rajesh Hassija, Managing Director, whose tireless guidance remains the beacon of success for ION year after year.
The day commenced with intellectually stimulating workshops. Mr. Krishna Tripathi (Pearl Academy) demystified Generative AI, while Ms. Celine Mary George (Mahattattva, Google) championed digital safety through the Digikavach initiative. The formal inauguration was a breathtaking fusion of heritage and high-tech, featuring soul-stirring melodies and a dance performance blending traditional art with modern technology.
The occasion was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Vivek Varshney, a global luminary in Digital Transformation and AI with over 33 years of expertise. Dr. Varshney, an alumnus of IIM Bangalore and CEO of Vivtra Technologies, shared pearls of wisdom that ignited the young audience’s passion for innovation. Amidst intense competition, Springdales School, Dhaula Kuan, emerged victorious, clinching the coveted Rolling Trophy. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, marking another milestone in Indraprastha’s legacy of excellence.

To spark curiosity and make General Knowledge learning truly enjoyable, Early Primary Classes hosted an exciting ‘Mystery Box’ activity that turned lessons into an interactive adventure. The aim was to help children explore and identify important concepts of the subject through hands-on experience. Students picked out objects related to the national symbols of India. They excitedly identified symbols like the tiger, peacock, and national flag, enhancing their awareness and observation skills. They explored flashcards of flags of different countries. They eagerly guessed and recognized the countries by observing colours and patterns, building their knowledge of the world.
The activity created an atmosphere of excitement and curiosity. Children actively participated, shared their ideas confidently, and enjoyed the element of surprise. Overall, the Mystery Box activity turned learning into an engaging adventure, strengthening concepts, boosting confidence, and making classroom learning memorable.

Class Assembly Report Class VBI
Date – May 12, 2026
Theme – Mothers : The Heart of the Home, The Soul of the World
The influence of a mother in the lives of her children is beyond calculation.
Class VB1 delivered a spectacular assembly based on the theme “Mother – The Heart of the Home, The Soul of the World.”. The programme began with a soulful thought for the day and the latest news updates, followed by a rhythmic recital.
The highlight of the assembly was a skit titled “The Interview,” which beautifully emphasized on the importance of selfless mother’s love.
The students also presented a melodious class song showcasing the unconditional love of a mother followed by a poignant poem recited by the Class Teacher. The Primary Headmistress, Ms. Shalu Dahiya, shared motivating words on the selfless role of mothers. She appreciated the students for their wonderful presentation and inspired everyone by highlighting the importance of mothers as the pillars of our families.

✨ Montessori Cultural Fest 2026 ✨
Indraprastha International School proudly hosted the Montessori Cultural Fest for Pre-Primary students on 9 May 2026 based on the theme “The Voice.” 🌟
The programme was graced by Chief Guest Ms. Esha Mehta, who shared inspiring thoughts on nurturing children with values and spending quality time during their formative years. Director Sir emphasized the importance of a strong parent-school partnership for the holistic development of every child.
A major highlight was the musical ballet where students beautifully portrayed the message of hard work, honesty, and self-belief through the divine guidance of Lord Krishna. 💫
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Montessori Headmistress Ms. Shivani Ahuja, expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, parents, staff, and students for making the event a grand success.

Mother’s Day House Activity (May 6, 2026)

As rightly said by George Washington, mother is the epitome of love and warmth. Keeping in mind the vital role played by a mother in child’s life, many activities were conducted by the Primary Wing of Indraprastha International School. The purpose of these activities were to help students express their love and gratitude towards their mothers.
Students participated enthusiastically in various activities such as Super Mom Badge Making, expressed their profound love with a short message, and made a Gratitude Tree for their mothers. They used creative ideas and colourful materials to make their work attractive and meaningful.
The activity created a joyful and emotional atmosphere in the classroom. It helped students understand the importance of mother’s love and care. All the students enjoyed the activity and expressed their feelings wholeheartedly. It also reminded them of the unconditional love of their mothers and inspiring them to cherish and respect this special bond.
