As HINDUITE rise above all.

The Day started with some Jaw dropping performance as it in its nature multi culture folk dances and Acts were performed and appreciated by University of Delhi professors and crowed .

Later, award ceremony was took place where the academic achievers were awarded.

Star Attraction was HRD Minister Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani as Chief guest attended the ceremony with college and university teachers.

Hindu College Received invitation from IIM-Ahmedabad for Annual Cultural Fest CHAOS 2015 :

Here's Brief about the Event-

Indian Institute of Management - Ahmedabad presents CHAOS, the biggest B-School cultural fest of India which attracts footfalls in excess of 60,000 and witnesses the participation from hundreds of institutes from India and abroad. It is going to be held from 23rd Jan-26th Jan 2015.

CHAOS every year features the biggest names from the Indian entertainment industry including Vishal Shekhar, KK, Shankar Ehsaan Loy, Indian Ocean, Fuzon and Euphoria. Apart from concerts, it also features a plethora of events and competitions related to music & dance, fashion, knowledge, aptitude, tech, gaming etc.

This year we are hoping and preparing ourselves to have the event of Fashion Parade at a bigger and better scale. It will be a great platform for people interested in the world of fashion or looking for having fun with music, props and garments.

There will be two rounds in the event and 1st and 2nd Prize winners. Also there are a lot of gift vouchers for various category winners.

The event is scheduled on 24th Jan 2015.

Rajeev Rathore
One of the reasons behind the placement of 2 WATER COOLERS in our Hindu College Canteen recently.
He filed the RTI (see picture) asking authorities for drinking water facilities in College Canteen which pressurized them to take action on the matter, as for last few years this issue was raised continuously with no response on the other side.

Rajeev is currently pursing b.com honours in II year from Hindu College.

There are more issues that need to be resolved in the college and University, its our responsibility to initiate and resolve it...

October 15 witnessed a great enthusiastic crowd at the Ibtida Lawns of Hindu College.
Save The Quest Walk A Thon, whose basic purpose to organize the event was to spread awareness about the importance of the White Cane in a blind person’s life was achieved very well.
Starting early morning in the Hindu College, participants took the pledge that they would never discriminate in their life on the basis of disability. Saif Ahmad Khan, chairperson, addressed the crowd and gave certain instructions to the participants for the walk scheduled from Hindu College to Vishwavidyalya Metro station and back to Hindu College. Participants were asked to make team of 2 persons, each to walk blindfolded with white cane halfway and other to guide him/her. They were to interchange in-between the way.
“Today we will go home with some realisation, the realisation of how blind people feel and with a promise that we will never discriminate.” said Saif Ahmad Khan, chairperson.
The participants were in a great enthusiasm during the walk. There were moments when they slipped, when they fell down but they got up and continued the walk with same enthusiasm.
“Intially I was scared of the walk as I feared that I may not complete the walk, but it was a great fun. Now, I have realised that how difficult it is for blind people to handle everything. A salute to them”, one participant told Explore DU.
After the walk, a great performance by Diwakar refreshed the participants and they were enjoying every beat of his songs. The songs filled a new energy in the atmosphere and every person present there enjoyed every moment.
There were various games which were to be played blindfolded and gifts were given to the winners.
It was a great day ended on a high note.
