We are delighted to share that the Surrendra Paul Art Gallery at Sangeet Shyamala was featured in 'The Times of India' for hosting Vyshyvanka Day 2026 in collaboration with the Embassy of Ukraine in India.

The event reflected our continued commitment to fostering cultural dialogue through the arts. Director Vasundhara Tewari Broota emphasized on the unique ability of artistic traditions to transcend borders, revealing the shared human stories that connect us all.

From rehearsals to performance, the journey reflected dedication, collaboration, and the timeless relevance of classical theatre. Proud of every performer who brought this iconic tragedy to the stage with such honesty and conviction. 🌿

We were also honoured by the presence of Mr. Dilip Sinha, Former Indian Ambassador to Greece, and sincerely thank him for gracing the evening and encouraging the performers with his presence.

A timeless story of courage that answers the inner call of conscience, even at the risk of life. First performed in 442 BC in Athens, this powerful tragedy continues to resonate today.
