*VGS Celebrates World Environment Day with a Green Pledge*
On the occasion of World Environment Day, Venkateshwar Global School reaffirmed its commitment to environmental sustainability through a meaningful Tree Plantation Drive. Led by the school Principal Dr. Namita Singhal and enthusiastic student volunteers, the initiative witnessed the plantation of 10 saplings, including Neem, Peepal, Banyan, Ashoka, Amla, Har Singar, and Raat Ki Rani.

The young Venkateshwarians took a pledge to nurture these saplings and contribute towards protecting our planet.

Through such green initiatives, the school continues to inspire environmental responsibility and encourage sustainable practices among future generations.

*VGS' Eco Entrepreneurial Biz Bags 4th Consecutive Gold Level Award in SCHOOL ENTERPRISE CHALLENGE 2025-26*

VGS' Eco Entrepreneurial Biz team brought laurels to the school by winning the Gold Level award 4th year in a row along with various badges at the international level of School Enterprise Challenge-Teach a Man to Fish, for the session 2025-26. The various badges won by the team are:

The VGS' Eco Entrepreneurial Biz organised various entrepreneurial ventures during the session like sale of Eco friendly Ganesha idols, handmade Diwali Decor and rakhis, eco friendly canvas bags, recycled t-shirts etc.

The entrepreneurial ventures contributed towards the betterment of the society as the young student entrepreneurs procured the raw materials from local artisans and supported an NGO by training its members on basic entrepreneurial skills. Students also learned teamwork, leadership, financial literacy, customer service, marketing, financial management and sustainable business practices while contributing to SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production.

*VGS CONDUCTS CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOP ON SCHOOL HEALTH & WELLNESS*

Venkateshwar Global School organised a two-day Capacity Building Workshop on 'School Health & Wellness' for teachers on May 18 and 19, 2026.

The workshop was conducted by esteemed resource persons Dr. Neeraj Vohra, Principal of Froebel Senior Secondary School and Ms. Ankita Anand, an accomplished educator at Arvind Gupta DAV Centenary Public School. Through interactive discussions, collaborative activities, and practical examples, the resource persons shared valuable insights and effective classroom strategies to support students’ overall well-being.

The workshop focused on significant aspects such as phases of growth and transition, physical, mental and emotional changes, interpersonal relationships, behavioural patterns, values and responsible citizenship, gender equality, prevention and management of substance use, as well as reproductive health and HIV prevention.

The workshop proved to be highly enriching and impactful, equipping teachers with meaningful approaches to nurture empathy, resilience, and positive classroom experiences.
