It is for every normal human being to be an artist and it is his divine heritage. Every child is an artist, with imagination and the artistic instinct, but human society kills it in us before we reach maturity. At Harita Art Academy, we personally feel that every individual has a creative mind with creative hands, so we give them the freedom to play with colors and explore their creativity, thus helping them to nurture their artistic instinct. Although, quite a few parents may regard art education as a luxury or may not find it beneficial to indulge their child in it, we simply find this as a gap on the parent’s part to link the benefits of art with different aspects of the child’s life. Fostering creativity won't just increase your child's chances of becoming the next Picasso, but you're also helping him develop mentally, socially, and emotionally. Creating art may boost young children's ability to analyze and problem-solve in myriad ways. As kids manipulate a paintbrush, their fine motor skills improve. By counting pieces and colors, they learn the basics of math. When children experiment with materials, they dabble in science. Most important perhaps, when kids feel good while they are creating, art helps boost self-confidence. And children who feel able to experiment and to make mistakes feel free to invent new ways of thinking, which extends well beyond the Art room. Harita Art Academy is an affiliated centre of Pracheen Kala Kendra and offers recognized diploma courses.
