Holi, the festival of colours is one of the most popular, vibrant, exciting, and fun festivals. It is a celebration of spring – the return of the colours around us – new leaves and new flowers. Special students of Sparsh celebrated this festival of colours with great zeal and fervour. Celebrating Holi was given an Eco friendly and peaceful mélange with floral petals of beautiful essence and hues. All of them happily danced to the tunes of Holi songs. Students savoured gujiyas to end the festivities on a sweet note.

Art & Craft is essential for students as it breaks the monotony of a routine. Art and Craft activities bring joy and excitement to children and also keep them busy. Keeping this in mind, an Art & Craft activity was planned for the special students of Sparsh. The children were asked to do blow painting and thoroughly enjoyed their activity.

Our special students of Sparsh participated in an exercise activity with sheer enthusiasm. Performing any kind of physical activity uplifts the mind and body and has a profound impact on the overall development of children. It also improves overall health and wellbeing. The eagerness and enthusiasm of our special students to perform this activity was truly mesmerizing.

A Flashcard activity was recently organized for our Sparsh students. The activity was a perfect blend of learning with fun. As our students were able to recapitulate the previous learnings and also had a fun time while learning.

With an aim to build creative expression amongst our special students, Sparsh organised a ‘Best out of Waste Activity.' The students collected reusable items like ice cream sticks, buttons, newspapers, and bangles to create wonderful artwork. They were also taught about the importance of reusing and recycling items for the protection of mother earth. The students were applauded for their efforts and creativity.

Spring adds new life and new beauty to all that is! Sparsh children welcomed this happy season as they celebrated the festival of Vasant Panchami. The little angels invoked the blessings of Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of knowledge, language, music, and all arts by offering flowers.

Hailing the glory of our beautiful country- India, the special children of Sparsh, celebrated the spirit of being a proud Indian this Republic Day. The celebration was the reflection of the rebounding patriotism as a lifetime dedication that needs to be embraced with tranquility. They showcased their patriotic fervour by creating various beautiful tricolour crafts such as flowers, flags, badges, drawings, etc. Reminiscing our country's golden heritage, the sparkling eyes of the special children unveiled pride in being an Indian.

To enhance fine motor skills of our special students, we recently organized a leaf painting activity. The activity witnessed immense enthusiasm from the students as they explored their creativity with different colours. Steeped in folklore, Lohri is a harvest festival, which is also the annual celebration of the arrival of longer days. It is celebrated to spread the joy of the harvest season amidst traditional folk songs, dance, and food. Our special students of Sparsh celebrated the auspicious festival of Lohri with great excitement. Sweets, popcorn, and other traditional delicacies associated with the festival were relished by the children. The lively and positive aura of the festivities brought a cheerful lush!
