Calling all photography geeks at the Jamia! Showcase your creativity this September with "Wiki Clicks Jamia" – an open photography contest where your passion for photography meets the beauty of Jamia Millia Islamia.

As Ansel Adams aptly said, “You don't take a photograph, you make it.” So, grab your camera as it’s time to unravel Jamia from its iconic buildings to its lush green lawns. Let your best snapshots tell the legacy and charm of this institution — and contribute to global knowledge.

Steps to follow:
1: Create an account on Wikimedia Commons. We advise using a unique anonymous username.

2: Scan the QR code and submit your registration form!

3: Begin uploading images through our dedicated Upload Wizard on Wikimedia Commons (link in bio).

Guslagie Malanda - Wikipedia Guslagie Malanda (born 1990)[1] is a French actress and art curator. She has starred in the films My Friend Victoria (2014) and Saint Omer (2022).

Our volunteers have begun exploring the vast Wikimedia movement. Here is a "stub article" on one of the former vice-chancellors of the Jamia Millia Islamia.

Ali Ashraf (academic) - Wikipedia Ali Ashraf (1930–1996) was an Indian academician who served as the vice-chancellor of Jamia Milia Islamia from 1983 to 1989.[1][2]

Recently on November 15, we had an interactive workshop on the basics of Wikimedia projects. It was a lot of learning and an un-learning process and we tried exploring the basic Wikimedia ecosystem.
