Manvi Public School

Dear Principal/Coordinator,

We are parents of Ronit Singh from Class X, session 2020.
Our son is a special needs individual and we feel blessed to have Manvi Public School in his educational journey.

The teachers who are teaching students during this corona time are truly remarkable when the whole nation is under lockdown.

We would like to convey our heartfelt appreciation to Ronit's teachers for their priceless efforts, understanding, support, guidance & contribution towards our son's progress.

By continuing the momentum of my son's education via virtual mode through video calls, e learning classes, e subject materials they have absolutely given a lifetime impact to our son as he had personally shared with us, his admiration & appreciation about the virtual mode of learning provided by school and effectively implemented by teachers during this critical time of lockdown.

Their dedication and patience had enabled our son to receive positive educational experience throughout this period of pandemic.

His teacher's are epitome of promoting inclusivity in education.

We are sincerely thankful to the school's management for giving a supportive platform to the teachers to excel in making a differences to our son's academic and holistic education.

Once again, thank you Manvi Public School and God bless.

Yours Sincerely,
Rachna & Randhir Singh,

Remembering the Missile Man of India!

APJ Abdul Kalam was an aerospace scientist and a phenomenal teacher who served as the 11th President of India from 2002 to 2007, and was referred as “People’s President". Kalam collapsed while delivering a lecture at Indian Institute of Management (IIM)-Shillong and died from an apparent cardiac arrest on July 27, 2015.
On APJ Abdul Kalam’s death anniversary, here is a look at some of his most renowned scientific contributions:
At a time when it was no less than a dream for India to have its own Satellite Launch Vehicle (SLV), Dr Kalam’s hard work and efforts for over a decade, making it possible for the country to have its first indigenous SLV. SLV III was developed by Kalam which was used for launching the Rohini satellite into Earth’s orbit. It also marked India’s entry into the Space club.

After working for Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for over two decades, Dr Kalam took the responsibility of developing indigenous guided missiles at Defence Research and Development Organisation.Dr Kalam was responsible for the development and operationalisation of Agni and Prithvi missiles, which made him popular as the ‘Missile Man of India’.

Dr Kalam was the Scientific Adviser to the Defence Minister of India between 1992 and 1999 when India went ahead with the nuclear explosions at Pokhran. He also engineered the Pokhran-II nuclear tests which catapulted India into the club of Nuclear Powers. It was till then only exclusive to five countries - USA, China, UK, France, and Russia.
Dr Kalam collaborated with cardiologist Dr B.Soma Raju for development of India’s first coronary stent. The stent was named Kalam-Raju-Stent and was developed in 1994. It led to reduction in prices of imported coronary stents in India by over 50 per cent.

International Yoga Day is observed annually on June 21. The idea behind the day is to create awareness about yoga and its many benefits. The idea of an International Yoga Day was proposed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014 in the United Nations General Assembly Meeting.
It is said that the word ‘yoga’ was first mentioned in the sacred text of the Rig Veda.

Yoga is an ancient meditative technique that cleanses, heals and harmonises the body from the core. It is a practice that is widely accepted even in Western cultures for its tremendous capacity to bring about a great improvement in mind and body balance, wellness of the mind, and an overall sense of calmness.
Wishing you all lifetime of wellness and goodness on the occasion of Yoga Day! Keep meditating!

Vigilance of Everyone is Safety for all, Negligence of Anyone, brings danger to all

Every year, more than 1.50 lakhs people lose their lives in our country in road accidents and many more are debilitated. This causes immense economic hardship and emotional trauma to their families. There is an urgent need to make our roads safer as the loss of lives and limbs cannot be accepted as the price of mobility.
There is a need for the society at large to take cognizance of the issue and to join hands to make road safety a social movement. "Road Safety Week" is observed throughout the country every year in order to highlight and emphasize the need for safe roads. lt is also an opportunity for all to contribute to the cause by taking up activities to promote the concept. This year instead of "Road, Safety Week", a month-long campaign "National Road Safety Month" was observed from 18th January 2021 to 17th February 2021. The theme of this year was, “Sadak Suraksha- Jeevan Raksha".
