Continuing the momentum of the 44-day campaign “Shram Nahi Shiksha”, the Campaign Against Child Labour invites you to another important session under the Thursday Webinar Series, “Uninterrupted Childhood.”
This week’s webinar, titled “Access to Justice and System Accountability”, will focus on the challenges faced by children engaged in labour, especially children from tribal and backward communities who continue to remain among the most marginalised and excluded.
The discussion will explore the importance of access to justice, strengthening accountability mechanisms, and ensuring that systems meant to protect children effectively respond to violations of child rights. The webinar will also highlight the role of institutions, communities, and stakeholders in creating child-sensitive and accountable systems that safeguard every child’s right to education, protection, and dignity.
The session will feature Bansari Nag, National Project Coordinator, ILO Country Office for India, as the speaker. The webinar will be moderated by Ashok Kumar, National Convenor, CACL.

Organized by Dr. A.V. Baliga Memorial Trust with the support of Child Rights and You (CRY), a two-day intensive training on Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) was conducted on 15th and 16th May 2026, bringing together community practitioners, grassroots workers, and project teams working closely with communities across different regions.
The training was facilitated by Dr. Indu Prakash Singh, a development practitioner, trainer, and rights-based facilitator known for his participatory and experiential learning approach. His facilitation style made the sessions deeply engaging, reflective, and interactive.
Rather than being limited to classroom lectures, the training focused on practical exercises, group activities, participatory tools, field-based reflections, and collective learning processes. Participants were encouraged to share their own grassroots experiences, challenges, and learnings from the field, making the space highly collaborative and enriching.
Throughout the two days, several PRA tools and techniques were introduced and practiced in ways that were simple, accessible, and powerful. The sessions highlighted the importance of community participation, local knowledge, collective analysis, and people-centered planning in development work. Focus was shifted from "I" to "We."
The two days were truly informative, intensive, insightful, and resourceful leaving participants with not only new tools and methods, but also renewed energy and perspective for their work on the ground.
