JoSAA 2025:
The JoSAA 2025 registration is expected to begin the JoSAA 2025 counselling registration process from June 3, 2025. The JoSAA counselling 2025 registration link will be available on the official website josaa.nic.in.

Students who have cleared the JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams can take part in the JoSAA counselling. This counselling includes steps like registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification at reporting centres, and payment of fees. All candidates who pass the JEE Advanced 2025 and have JEE Main ranks must register for the JoSAA counselling to get into their desired UG engineering courses.

The full schedule and JoSAA 2025 counselling round-wise dates will be shared on josaa.nic.in. The list of academic programs and the JoSAA seat matrix (which shows the number of seats available for each category) will also be available on the online portal of JoSAA 2025. JoSAA 2025 Counselling Process: Steps
The JoSAA counselling for 2025 is likely to start from June 3, 2025, just one day after the JEE Advanced 2025 results are announced. The counselling process of JoSAA comprises various stages such as registration, filling of choices, seat allotment, and document verification. Minimum 5 rounds of counselling to be held by JoSAA for IIT, NIT, IIIT, and other GFTIs. Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of how this all will work:

1.Registration: The JoSAA 2025 registration will start from June 3, 2025, and the choice filling will be open from June 3 to June 10, 2025. Students must register online to take part in JoSAA 2025 counselling. During this step, students will need to fill in their details using their JEE Main 2025 registration number and password. This will also be the point at which they can change their password and their contact details.

2. JoSAA Choice Filling and Locking of Choices: Post registration, students will be required to fill and lock the choices of their branch and colleges as per their preference. The options they can choose will be presented to them based on their eligibility. Candidates can use the “Arrange filled choices” for preference ordering. When all the options are filled, students need to freeze the options and print them for use at the time of counselling.

3.Mock Seat Allotment: With the help of mock allotment, candidates can know the colleges in which they can get admission according to the choices filled by them. After the JoSAA mock seat allotment, they can still modify their choices. Please remember: once the choices are locked and the deadline passes, no further changes can be made.

4.Final Choice Locking: The last date to lock your final choices is June 10, 2025. No changes will be allowed after this.

5.Seat Allotment: JoSAA will announce the seat allotment result for Round 1 on June 20, 2025. Allocation of seats is done according to the rank of the candidate, preferences of programs and colleges, and availability of seats. Candidates will have three options: acceptance of the allotted seat and not be a further part of the rounds, acceptance and remain in the candidates list for the next round of allotment, and non-acceptance of the seat.

6.Seat Acceptance Fee: Candidates have to pay the seat acceptance fee through online mode. Candidates have to pay the seat acceptance fee online to confirm their seat. If a candidate does not pay the fee, their seat will be cancelled and they will be out of the counselling process. The candidates who will not pay the seat acceptance fee, their documents will not be verified.

7.Online Document Verification: In this stage, aspirants must upload their documents at the scheduled time and get them verified. The document verification is a mandatory process, and candidates who successfully complete document verification can only appear for final admission to the allocated institutes.

8.Reporting at Allotted Institute: Finally, students will have to visit the allotted institute, and along with all the admission formalities, they will have to confirm the seat.
