IPKC is also the Feeder system of UKL – Ultimate Karate League Karate has a huge following all across India in form of amateur Karate. Amateur Karate is defined as a sport where athletes have to bear all expenses related with their performance. Such events are conducted under three (3) tournament formats of Traditional Karate, General/Sports Karate and Contact Karate. Professional Karate is define
d as martial sport where athletes receive remuneration for their performance. It facilitates opportunities for karate practitioners to develop their skill to make it their career and explore job opportunities in the field of karate. Professional Karate has come to the fore through a combination of developments. Mass Media and increased leisure have brought larger audiences, so that karate teams can command large incomes. As a result, more sports people can afford to make Karate their primary career, devoting the training time necessary to increase skills, physical condition and experience to modern levels of achievement. This proficiency shall also help boost the popularity of karate. IPKC aims to develop robust eco-system for the conversion of existing Karate population into professional formats. Internationally acclaimed karate exponent Sensei Rajeev Sinha is its Chairman & Managing Director while Sensei J. Kumar is its founder Directors. Sensei Sandeep S. Salvi is its first appointed Secretary General. IPKC Board of Advisors include a number of eminent persons from karate, industry and art & culture.
