Summer break for class XII students has also been extended till 8th july 2012. Extra classes scheduled for them on 4th, 5th and 6th July stand cancelled. School will reopen for them on 9th July as well.

Educational Trip to The Air Force Museum 16/03/2012

The students of Class III-ABCD visited the Air Force Museum. The children enjoyed the visit. They were particularly enamored by the fighter aircrafts and missiles on display. Before leaving the children handed over a Thank You card to the person incharge of the museum.

ANNUAL DAY 16/03/2012

The School Annual Day was held on 10th of March'2012 in the School Auditorium. It was a spectacular show , much appreciated by the parents .It was the labour of love presented by our students. The play was an improvised version of the evergreen classic ‘The Pied Piper Of Hamlein’ with today’s realism weaved into it. Children participated with great enthusiasm and went home with a lot of pride, sense of achievement and fond memories for a lifetime. The show was a grand success which could not be held without the support of the music teachers, class teachers, other staff members who helped in applying make up, preparing the props, the back drop, the power-point presentation, maintenance of discipline, the M.C. of the day and lastly the admin staff.

Trip to Lodhi Garden 16/03/2012

TheNursery/ K.G. children had a funfilled day as they enjoyed watching various plants and trees. They saw ducks and fishes also.They also drew pictures of the same. Children shared their food amongst themselves and had fun.

ECO adventure Camp 16/03/2012

The children of classes II - IV went for an eco adventure camp at Najafgarh. The chidlren were very excited and enjoyed all the fun activities. By the end they were all very proud and happy that they were able to do all the activities without much help. . They had great fun crossing the Burma bridge and doing wall climbing and cat walk, They enjoyed their camel cart and tractor ride also. Magic and dance was enjoyed by one and all. It was a great experience. An enjoyable trip coupled by a sense of achievement independently.

A wonderful combination of exercises and races where the Pre Primary children showcased their talent on the field. Mr Joe Sebastian was our honourable chief guest, who with his encouraging words praised the little ones for their effort.

Junior School Mathemgic Quiz 07/02/2012

The annual Junior School Mathemagic Quiz was held on 2nd February 2012 .It was a mathemagical experience for all present. The four teams showed great presence of mind and an extremely quick paced ability for mental calculations.

THE YOUNG GLOBAL CITIZEN SUMMIT 06/02/2012

The Banyan Tree School represented by three students Akshara Misra, Tanmay Kumar and Swetha Sekhar from classes 9 and 10 along with the Teacher Ms Parul Sahai participated in the Young Global Citizens Summit organized by the British Council along with The Sai International School in Bhubaneswar Odisha from 26th to 29th January 2012. With a participation of over 500 students from more than 100 schools from all over the country, the Summit offered workshops on Creative writing and theatre, Dance, Music, Youth Leadership, Social Action Plan , Presentation Skills and Communication etc to name a few.

The summit was a unique opportunity for generating Global Awareness among a few students who would as leaders provide similar experience for their peers in school through the creation of the Young Global Citizens Clubs. To facilitate in the process, the students and teachers were introduced to a variety of techniques, through various workshops to maximise participation in these clubs.
