The Christmas celebration was held at St. Gregorios School with great enthusiasm and festive spirit on 22 December 2025. The programme was organised to spread the message of love, peace, and goodwill among students and teachers. Rev. Father Pathrose Joy, Principal Dr. Manoj Kumar, and Vice Principal Mrs. Tanuja Chakravarthi presided over the function. The Chief Guest, Rev. Father Pramod Mathew Thomas, graced the occasion with his presence.
The celebration began with a prayer song seeking God’s blessings, followed by a warm welcome address by the Vice Head Girl, Anvi Singh (XI B).
One of the highlights of the celebration was the Inter-House Carol Singing Competition. Students from all the houses participated with great zeal and presented melodious carols that filled the atmosphere with joy and devotion. The performances were judged on voice quality, harmony, rhythm, and overall presentation.
The first position was bagged by the Red House, the second position by the Yellow House, and the third position was won by the Blue House. While declaring the results, the Vice Principal appreciated the efforts of all the participants and congratulated them on their melodious performances.
The skit, dance, and drama performances truly captivated everyone’s hearts. In his inspiring message, the Chief Guest, Rev. Father Pramod Mathew Thomas, spoke about the true meaning of Christmas and encouraged students to practise kindness, compassion, and unity in their daily lives.
The programme concluded with the distribution of prizes to the winners of inter-school competitions, and the celebration ended on a joyful note with a vote of thanks by the Vice Principal, leaving everyone with the true spirit of Christmas in their hearts

On the joyous occasion of Christmas, our school organised a charity drive to spread love, care, and happiness among the less fortunate. As part of this noble initiative, a visit was arranged to Ashagrih,Sector-19(For Boys), Ashagrih,Sector-8 (For Girls), Deepti Ashram, Najafgarh, and Aashalayam, Palam on 18th December 2025.

The visit was undertaken with the objective of sharing the spirit of Christmas and extending a helping hand to the children living in these homes. Under the able guidance of the Principal Dr. Manoj Kumar and Vice Principal Mrs.Tanuja Chakravarti, students and teachers actively participated in collecting essential items such as food supplies, clothes, stationery, toys, and other daily necessities. These items were distributed among the children with warmth and affection.

At each orphanage, we were warmly welcomed by the staff and caretakers. The students interacted with the children, sang Christmas carols, and shared sweets and gifts. The atmosphere was filled with joy, smiles, and festive cheer. Short cultural activities and messages of love and hope added meaning to the celebration and made the day memorable for everyone present.

The visit helped the students understand the true essence of Christmas—sharing, caring, and compassion. It sensitised them to the lives of the underprivileged and instilled values of empathy, gratitude, and social responsibility.

The charity drive concluded on a positive note, leaving a lasting impression on both the visitors and the children of the orphanages. The experience was truly enriching and reinforced our belief that small acts of kindness can bring immense happiness.

“Nothing warms a winter day like sunshine, laughter, and friends by your side.”

On Friday, 12th December 2025, the students of Classes IX to XII of St. Gregorios School, Dwarka embarked on their eagerly awaited annual picnic to Rangmanch Farms, Gurgaon. What unfolded was a vibrant day filled with joy, adventure, and unforgettable moments shared among friends and teachers.

Rangmanch Farms, with its expansive greenery and rustic charm, welcomed the group with fresh winter air and a lively atmosphere. As the warm winter sun spread its glow across the fields, students immersed themselves in the abundance of fun activities offered at the farm. From energising outdoor games to relaxed strolls under the clear sky, every moment felt refreshing and exhilarating.

The students enthusiastically participated in team challenges, farm experiences, and recreational activities that brought out both their playful spirit and camaraderie. Adding to the delight was the heartwarming spread of delicious food, perfectly complementing the winter picnic mood and keeping everyone fuelled with happiness.

Whether it was sharing laughter with friends, enjoying the natural beauty, or capturing moments to cherish, every student found something memorable in the day. The combination of nature’s serenity, cheerful company, and the gentle winter sun created an experience that felt truly special.

As the day drew to a close and the buses made their way back to school, the students returned with refreshed minds, bright smiles, and memories that will linger for years to come. The picnic to Rangmanch Farms was more than just a break — it was a celebration of togetherness, nature, and youthful joy.

Career counselling is a professional process that helps individuals understand their strengths, interests, and goals to make informed career decisions. It provides clarity about suitable career paths, educational choices, and skill development. On 11th December St. Gregorios School provided an opportunity for class XI-XII students to assess their skills, interest, personality and aptitude to choose a sound career and profession according to evolving job market. Ms. Minu A. Associate Director and Ms. Ponny Thomas Assistant Professor from Kristu Jayanti University were invited to enlighten our students for assessment, guidance and personalized planning for their career. They provided career counselling support to adapt according to evolving job requirement, overcome confusion and built confidence in their decisions. This session empowered students to pursue fulfilling careers that aligns with their abilities, values, and long-term aspirations.

H.G. Job Mar Philoxenos Inter-School Carol Fest 2025.
St. Gregorios School hosted H.G. Job Mar Philoxenos Inter-School Carol Fest 2025, themed “Echoes of Christmas Cheer,” with great joy and festive spirit on 11th December 2025. The event was graced by the Chairman Rev. Fr. Pathrose Joy, Principal Dr. Manoj Kumar, Vice Principal Mrs. Tanuja Chakravarti, Teachers, and students from various schools.
The programme began with a prayer song and lighting of the lamp, followed by the Welcome Address by Rev. Father Pathrose Joy. A short introduction to the event was given by the Vice Principal and a documentary on the life and legacy of His Grace Job Mar Philoxenos was presented which was watched reverently by all.

The distinguished panel of judges included Fr. Maria Arockiadoss, Fr. Milton George, and Sister Sherly George, who were warmly welcomed by the troop of NCC cadets. Participants were informed of the rules and judging criteria, after which the teams of 8 schools presented their carols. Each group showcased excellent harmony, creativity, and festive enthusiasm.
ST. FRANCIS DE SALES SR. SEC. SCHOOL, JANAKPURI bagged the first prize and the second prize was won by ST. GREGORIOS SCHOOL,DWARKA. The third prize was won by JESUS MARY JOSEPH SCHOOL, PASCHIM VIHAR. However ST. THOMAS SCHOOL, GHAZIABAD and ST. PAUL SCHOOL, HAUZ KHAS were given the consolation prizes.The Principal Dr Manoj Kumar delivered the Vote of Thanks, appreciating everyone’s efforts.The event concluded with Christmas greetings and a message of love, peace, and togetherness. The Carol Fest was a fitting tribute to His Grace Job Mar Philoxenos and a joyful celebration of the Christmas spirit.

Felicitation Ceremony in Honour of Dr. Pooja Sharma, PGT, Physical Education .

St. Gregorios School, Dwarka, witnessed a morning of immense pride and celebration as the Gregorian community came together to felicitate Dr. Pooja Sharma, PGT–Physical Education and Manager of the Indian Kabaddi Team that lifted the World Cup 2025. The ceremony, held on 27 November 2025, honoured her remarkable achievement and her exceptional contribution to the nation’s sporting legacy.
The event commenced with a warm welcome extended to the dignitaries—
Rev. Fr. Pathrose Joy (Chairman), Mr. Jaldhari Meena (ACP, Dwarka and Chief Guest),
Dr. Manoj Kumar (Principal), and Mrs. Tanuja Chakravarti (Vice Principal).
The ceremony began on a spiritual note with a melodious Prayer Song by the School Choir,
followed by an official Welcome Address by the Vice Principal, Mrs. Tanuja Chakravarti, who expressed the school’s collective admiration for Dr. Sharma’s extraordinary journey from a national player to a world-level team manager. A special moment of pride graced the stage as the dignitaries felicitated Dr. Pooja Sharma, celebrating her as a former Asian Games Gold Medallist (2010) and now the inspiring managerial force behind India’s triumphant World Cup win.The audience resonated with applause as her achievements were acknowledged with deep
respect and admiration.
The Chairman, Rev. Fr. Pathrose Joy, and Principal, Dr. Manoj Kumar, addressed the gathering, commending Dr. Sharma’s dedication, her role as a mentor to countless students, and the example she sets for aspiring young athletes of the school. Adding vibrance to the ceremony, the School Choir presented a motivational song that symbolised teamwork, perseverance, and

Our Pre-Primary kids had an unforgettable Children’s Day filled with magic, laughter, and lots of dancing.

The day began with an exciting Magic Show that left our little ones wide-eyed with amazement as they watched the tricks. Their smiles were truly priceless

This was followed by fun dance performances where our tiny stars danced with their teachers filling the atmosphere with energy and cheer.
Chocolates were also distributed among the students.

The school celebrated 'Children's Day' with great zeal and enthusiasm on 14th November 2025. A special assembly was conducted by class VI students on this occasion.The day began with a soothing prayer song.A beautiful and inspiring speech was delivered by our Principal Sir, Dr Manoj Kumar followed by an address from our Academic Coordinator, Mrs. Geetha Kurup ma’am. The programme concluded with a melodious performance by Music Teacher Mrs. Piyali ma’am who enthralled everyone by singing the song “Itni Si Khushi". A magic show for the students of class 1-5 and a movie show for the students of class VI - XII was also organised on this day. The fun filled day culminated with distribution of chocolates among the students.

“Yovel 2025: Faithful Years, Joyful Hearts”

The much-awaited Annual Day Celebration of St. Gregorios School, Dwarka, was held with grandeur and heartfelt joy on the 7th and 8th of November, 2025. Spanning over two spectacular evenings, the event beautifully captured the spirit of this year’s theme — “Yovel 2025: Faithful Years, Joyful Hearts.”

The school campus shimmered with excitement at its 50th Jubilee year as parents, dignitaries, and guests gathered to witness a soulful display of talent, creativity, and teamwork.

The celebration for Classes LKG to II was held on November 7, 2025, with Major General P.K. Sehgal (Retd.) gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest. The young Gregorians stole every heart as they lit up the stage with boundless enthusiasm and innocence. The event began with a solemn Prayer Song by the school choir, followed by the Lighting of the Lamp by the dignitaries and a Welcome Address by the Chairman, Rev. Fr. Pathrose Joy. Our talented students presented a vibrant Welcome Dance, setting the perfect tone for the evening.

The Annual Report presented by Principal Dr. Manoj Kumar highlighted the institution’s achievements, milestones, and aspirations. The Chief Guest, in his inspiring address, lauded the school’s commitment to holistic education and discipline. A special moment of pride was the Honouring of 25 years of dedicated service by teachers and members of the Gregorian family — a testament to the school’s enduring legacy.

The evening’s highlight, the Kaleidoscope of Events — “Echoes of Yovel” — comprised thought-provoking skits and performances by the junior students on themes such as Sovereignty of God, Economic Freedom, Family Restoration, Care for Creation, and Jubilee Celebration. Each act, with its message and music, reflected the innocence, creativity, and moral grounding that define the ethos of the school.

The following day, November 8, 2025, saw the grand celebration by Classes III to XII. Presiding over the event was our spiritual father H.G. Dr. Youhanon Mar Demetrios, Metropolitan, Diocese of Delhi along with Sh. Dinesh Ram, Regional Officer, CBSE Delhi (East), as the Chief Guest. The evening commenced with prayers and the ceremonial lamp-lighting, followed by a warm welcome and a mesmerising dance performance by students.

The Presidential Address by the Metropolitan was deeply inspiring, emphasising faith, perseverance, and the mission of education. The Annual Report presented the academic, cultural, and spiritual growth of the institution, while the Chief Guest’s Address highlighted the school’s consistent excellence and contribution to value-based learning. The event also featured the felicitation ceremony of teachers who completed 25 years of dedicated service in our school along with the award ceremony for academic and sports achievements. These awards highlighted the outstanding merit and commitment among students.

The second day’s Kaleidoscope of Events — “A Legacy of Light & Liberation” — was a spectacular blend of music, drama, and dance. The senior students presented powerful performances on Sovereignty of God, Unshackle, Release & Liberate, Fête de la Joie, and Jubilee Celebration, culminating in a breathtaking Grand Finale that brought the audience to its feet.

Throughout both evenings, the school choir enriched the atmosphere with harmonious renditions. Our Vice Principal, Mrs. Tanuja Chakravarti, proposed the vote of thanks on both days, thankfully acknowledging every guest and every member for joining us for the Jubilee Celebration and also in arranging the resources timely for the successful implementation of the annual day. The organisers and the tech. team ensured seamless lighting, sound, and stage transitions — turning every moment into a visual and auditory delight. The supporting staff and administrative team worked tirelessly behind the scenes, ensuring every detail was perfect — from the stunning decor to the efficient management of guests and participants.

The event concluded with the School Anthem, echoing with pride and unity across the auditorium. The two-day celebration was not just a cultural extravaganza but a heartfelt expression of gratitude, faith, and joy — truly embodying the spirit of “Yovel 2025 – Faithful Years, Joyful Hearts.”

Madras Christian College, Department of Geography had organized an inter-school competition - Voyage 2025.
The competition was organized at all India level It was for students of classes 9 to 12 in both online and offline
modes.
The competition was on 6th of October.
The event was coordinated by Sailaja Saxena Mam, who guided and inspired the students to participate in photograpy ,videography and poster making competitions. Two of our students have done exceptionally well.
1. Diya Renny of Class 10 Secured first position in videography
2. Samaira Mahajan of Class 10 Secured third position in photography.
The event gave an enriching and creative experience ,which encouraged many to observe their surroundings more closely and think critically about the connections between Nature, people and place.It gave a good learning experience to the students who had been a part of Voyage 2025.

These words perfectly reflect the life and spirit of St. Gregorios of Parumala, our beloved patron saint.

Today, our school joyfully celebrated Patron’s Day in honor of St. Gregorios of Parumala, our heavenly patron and guiding light. The morning assembly was filled with devotion, inspiration, and pride as students and teachers came together to remember the saint’s life of faith, humility, and service.

The program was presided over by our Chairman, Rev. Fr. Pathrose Joy, Principal Dr. Manoj Kumar, and Vice Principal Mrs. Tanuja Chakravarti.

The day began with a soulful prayer song, "Our Father in Heaven", by the school choir, followed by inspiring speeches in English and Hindi by Hena Rachel Peter and Joanaah Eliza Jacob, highlighting the holy life and teachings of St. Gregorios.

Our Chairman’s address motivated everyone to walk in the path of compassion and dedication, drawing strength from the values exemplified by our patron saint.

The celebration also witnessed the much-awaited Zenith Result Declaration by the Vice Principal, followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony, where the achievements of our talented students were recognized and applauded.

The event concluded with the National Anthem, filling our hearts with pride and gratitude.

The day was a beautiful reminder to follow in the footsteps of St. Gregorios and live a life rooted in love, faith, and service.
