Things to do when your children are young and growing :

1. Make them learn the basic information about him/her and the family. It would help in adversity.
2. Make him/her develop the attribute of self- respect.
3. Make him/her recognise the wrong/ obscene gestures.
4. Don't leave your girl child alone in the company of less known persons. (Apply on boys also when they are very young)
5. Make your child learn to negate the things offered by unknown/ less known persons.
6. Encourage your child to take part in extra-curricular activities.

Following are the ways to respect your children's views and ways to know them in a better way :

1. Always praise your children's deeds even if it is a little endeavor.
2. Share good news with them.
3. Avoid sharing bad news with them.
4. Speak well of their friends and loved ones to them.
5. Keep in remembrance the good things they did.

Children are the most precious assets for their parents as well as for the nation. At this present era, the children are getting much exposure and their ability to see, think and grasp is way better than the ones who born 15-20 years before them. Therefore, we must pay attention to what they are thinking and saying so that they get confidence and further sharpen their skills. Following are the ways to respect your children's views and ways to know them in a better way :

1. Pay attention to what they are saying.
2. Put away your phone in their presence when they are willing to make some conversations with you.
3. Accept their opinions.
4. Engage yourself in their conversations.
5. Look at them with respect.

If you are invited by your relative or friend to stay with him for a week or longer period, be sure to take everything with you that is essential for personal use in daily life. However, you should refrain from taking unneccesory luggage.

When you receive the visitors of both sexes, it is your duty to look after the comfort of the male guest while your wife looks after the ladies. If your guest stay for a night, you should accompany him to his bedroom and ensure that he has everything necessary for his comfort and use.

When leaving a friend's house after a party, ceremony or wedding, don't keep anyone engaged in chatting on the doorstep thereby causing inconvenience to others.

In parties, ceremonies or functions, be sure to arrive timely. If you are late it may cause a meal to be kept waiting. On the other side, don't be unduly so early since the host or hostess maybe busy in making arrangements and may not be ready for you.

While visiting someone's house don't study the books, magazines etc placed on anyone's table and don't write anything unless your opinion is invited. If an elderly person or a lady guest arrive during your visit, rise from your seat when they enter the room and make salutations.

When visiting someone's house don't sit down on improper places, don't smoke and don't touch the things even if you get curious of anything.

Don't call your friends in your house if some guests have already been staying. Especially, in small households it may cause inconvenience. Besides, if you visit someone's house and you find the guests there, your stay at that house should be quite brief.

You should avoid calling friends at a meal time if it is not a planned feast at your home. If anyone known to you come to your house at meal time, offer him or her to share the food. If it is denied then gently ask him to sit in a proper place if no one is present to attend him.
