Jupiter planet, the great benefactor changes its location and moves into Scorpio sign on October 12, 18.

This may have life impacting changes in our lives.

Scorpio is the eighth sign of zodiac but it’s location in a particular house of a horoscope will be different for each one of us. Some of the general points about this location of Jupiter are as below.

1. Extra interest in occult and spirituality
2. Curiosity about life and death
3. Enhanced telepathy faculty
4. Rigidity in religious views
5. Finances and taxes get focus
6. Real state, insurance gets a boost
7. Efforts to squeeze private inputs
8. Hidden motives in friendships
9. Inheritance ......more

Any malefic association to Jupiter can bring out the legal battles on above aspects.

Above factors will be modified for each individual depending on one’s Ascendent and position of Jupiter in your birth chart.

More to come....

Green Compliance
By Mohan Pahujani, Astrologer, Healer, Teacher and Corporate Astro Adviser

Rightly so there is lot of stress on green compliance at least in main cities of India. I am sure this trend will trickle down to smaller towns too and very soon India will be full of greenery. With so many plantation drives going on, sooner or later positive results are bound to come. All good.

I sometimes think what happens to the concerned authorities when
- the flyover rout and location is finalised but just at the end of flyover the road becomes narrow
- the flyover is in the centre and suddenly bus takes a left for its stop
- signage on roads/ flyovers show wrong direction
- houses are constructed but there is no provisions for water or power
- why footpaths are occupied by paanwallas, tea wallas, amritsari kulche
- just outside metro stations is full of vendors
- garbage bins are put but not cleaned
- garbage collected but not removed
- several other things...

Someone might say that I am be negative, yes may be. Lot of good things have happened but above mentioned items have become from bad to worse in last seventy years.

Is it that nothing can be done?
We talk a lot but we lack basic amenities and infrastructure.

My view is that we need to strengthen our compliance mechanism as by nature we do what we are told to do. We are weak in Self Compliance and Self Discipline. At least initially this is required.

There is a need to establish a Hot Line Number for all types of Non Compliances so that citizens can share their grievances. We need to look at legal aspects too besides accountability.

Let us be compliant and respect rules and regulations.

It is rightly being shared by our leaders that these days discipline is being taken as autocratic, this is untrue.

Without discipline we will never progress.

Appetite for Publicity
By Mohan Pahujani, Astrologer, Healer, Teacher

I heard that few days before someone uploaded a video on media showing self su***de attempt. On top of it, it was also highlighted that there were couple of thousand likes/views on it.

While people were ‘liking’ the video, no one thought of informing the police. Though I feel police must be having their intelligence network. Well! I am not focusing on this part.

The point I wish to mention that what could have prompted the person to put that video in media. Reasons can be
1. He wanted someone to stop him
2. His girlfriend ditched him
3. He wanted to tell someone that he is not afraid to do this act
4. He wanted to escape some situation
5. He was forced by someone
6. It could be a publicity stunt
7. He wanted ‘likes’ on the video
8. He wanted to become a legend and may be several other reasons

I know that these days we share everything on the media and follow it up with an effort to know how many likes and views I have got on the photo.

I have known several persons who compare the likes and views of their party dresses and photos with in their social circle and it becomes their life goal to get maximum views and likes.

Also they would like to see their photograph every where.

To me this is not a normal behaviour. It is a case of self obsession and must be treated as a medico psychological issue.

Let us put a stop to this greed of self publicity.... or Publicity ki BHUKH.

Hugging Trees
By Mohan Pahujani, Astrologer, Healer, Blogger and Co-Founder Jyotish Gurukul

It is heartening to see men/women hugging and kissing trees in an effort to protect them. It may be an entirely different experience if we notice that these very persons do not pay attention to garbage disposal even in/outside their homes.

My personal view is that this all is done to attract media attention and get publicity.

On the other side, I know a lady in our locality who while going for a morning walk carries a bottle of water and will nurse the plant which she planted few days ago. I wanted to put her photo in the blog but she refused.

So we have both type of persons but unfortunately the lime light is grabbed by men/women who can make noise and grab media attention.

Here, I need the help of media to do some home work before they put their photos of tree huggers.

Another point is that Green Authorities will not allow to relocate a tree in the middle of the road even if the accidents occur.

Also there are cases like two trees are not being permitted to be removed to widen a road though traffic jams are being experienced and millions of rupees in fuel are being wasted every day besides air pollution.

Can some one in governance think and be practical and take some positive decisions?

How can we help besides hugging, let us explore?

Being Free
By Mohan Pahujani, Astrologer, Healer, Teacher

Received several messages on Independence Day showing flags and impressive phrases. By tonight everyone forget about being free and will be busy in their respective routine.

But the big question remains and that is:

Are we Free from:
1. Greed
2. Dishonesty
3. Distrust
4. Indiscipline
5. Disobeying traffic rules
6. Throwing garbage anywhere
7. Telling Lies
8. Spreading rumours
9. Wasting time
10. Envy
11. Insulting people
12. wanting self projecting
13. pulling friends down
14. Selling fake medicine
15. Selling adulterated milk
16. Uski kamij mere se safed kyon feeling
and several others....

Real freedom will come when even a single characteristic is worked upon into positive aspect from above mentioned.

We all have become artificial humans. I have a doubt that we have become free.

Tips -
By Mohan Pahujani, Astrologer, Healer, CO-Founder Jyotish Gurukul

Among all relationships two of the main ones come to my mind at this moment,
1. Parental Relationship
2. Marriage Relationship

For the purpose of this sharing, I will take up Marriage.
Marriage has two aspects to it.
1. Affinity
2. Endurablity

Both are important and necessary for the survival of Marriage.
Affinity is short lived unless it is supported by deep true and sincere love.
Endurability is something related with continuance of marriage no matter what.
Maturity of relationships happens after few fights and few years. It is well said as below:
“Sulajhne ke liye Ulajhna bhi jaroori hai”

While this phrase is very apt to be practical and elongate the longevity of marriage life, something more is required.

The astrological tip for endurability of marriage can be assed by position of Sun in the horoscope of spouses. If the position of Sun in one chart is in first house and say Sun of the other is in seventh house, then the rule is :

Closer is the Sun, better is the endurability in marriage.
There are other things too but this is the important one.

This is a very good tool for checking endurability during match making.

Check up in your charts and ask if you have a question.

Priorities at Work
By Mohan Pahujani, Astrologer, Healer, Teacher n Life Coach and Co-Founder/Co-Owner of Jyotish Gurukul

Someone asked me a question as below.

‘What were your top three priorities at work when you were Manger of a Unit’.

I have been thinking about this and what came to my mind is that an organisation to a Manager is like a child to parents.

All parents wish that there child must become s good human being adopting honesty, truthfulness,.... and ethical behaviour.

All parents also want that a child must adopt and follow a guideline to achieve the joint vision of their family like some parents want to see their child as an IPS police officer and similar positions.

Most of the parents also want that the methods and approach the child follows in life need to be of best order while the child remains their child.

In organisations too when you become responsible for a unit, you get a feeling that the organisation is like you child. I have no hesitation in telling that the priorities more or less the same.

Nevertheless, top three priorities are

1. Ethics compliance by self demonstration and encouraging colleagues
2. Organisational Vision is the guideline to action
3. Facilitate superior work culture in all the areas

There can be more but above three mentioned encompass and touch all the areas a Manager may touch while discharging his duties.

These three factors become part of you and your life. There are situations when you are in a dilemma then my approach is always follow your inner voice....

Health Hazard
By Mohan Pahujani, Astrologer, Healer, Teacher, Blogger

Few days before while shopping I got some money balance. As I saw the soiled notes, I felt little repulsive and I told the cashier that I am not going to accept this so he gave me some better notes.

Then after a while I thought what made me behave like this. I looked at the notes more closely as they were badly
- crushed and crumpled
- dirty and wet
- torn edges
- smelling

Though money is money it doesn’t get devalued by its appearance and condition.

I came across an article in media that ‘notes’ in circulation carry lot of bacteria which can be harmful for us. It indicated that number of bacteria is much more than our mobile phones and close to our shoe/chappal soles.

It also came to my mind how we Indians count notes or how we pay money at the restaurants where we eat. This is all so unhealthy but money is money and we can not do without handling it.

Some of the precautions we can take:
- don’t handle money while eating
- don’t touch your eyes after handing this type of notes
- don’t put wet notes in purse, keep them out to dry
- don’t keep money hidden in body crevices and contours
- may be a separate pouch for soiled notes
- little kids have an affinity for notes and their way of checking is by putting them in mouth, be careful
- Keep notes neatly staked in a purse
- may be get these soiled notes exchanged from bank
- use of hand sanitizer after handling such notes
- digital money exchange is best

No matter in whatever condition you get money, do your best to keep it with you in a proper manner and respectfully.

Let us see the availability of money with more than half of us in India. It shows we do not respect money.

Rule is very simple- You respect money and money will come to you more as it feels respected.

Tips - Lunar Eclipse
By Mohan Pahujani, Astrologer, Healer, Blogger

Just to refresh your memories about how Lunar Eclipse occurs.

When Earth comes in between the line of Sun and Moon and the Earth’s shadow falls on the lunar surface, a lunar eclipse occurs.

Lunar eclipse is on July 27, 18. Moon is posited in Capricorn the earthy and moveable rashi. Depending on the position in a particular house of each person it will feel different impact.

Some of the impacts are as below:
- selfish behaviour and money minded
- success in business with initial loss
- discord in the family
- self health requires monitoring
- interest in occult studies
- spiritual activities
- job change likely
- controversy and disruption
- problems in foreign contacts

These are some of the indicators. One may face a situation if Moon is not well placed in the birth chart and these issues are indicated from more than one direction.

If the Moon is harmoniously placed, good things or opposite of above situations can also happen. Normally, the impact of an eclipse lasts for six month from the date of occurrence.

Roughly the time of beginning of eclipse is from 10:45 pm for around four hours.

I personally suggest prayers to Lord Shiva and Maa Durga in this period.

The prayer creates positive energy to neutralise any negative impact.

Don’t hesitate to ask if you have a specific question......

ART of LOVING SELF
By Mohan Pahujani, Astrologer , Healer , Life Coach

We all have heard a lot about Art of Living and there are several books on Art of Loving too e.g. Art of Loving Relationships, Art of Loving your Wife, so on so forth. Here I am going share my views on Art of Loving Self.

Normally, we understand the meaning of love as being loved by others but have we thought that how we love ourselves. The logic is very simple if we do not know how to love ourselves, we can not love others. It will be fake.

When we think of loving self, I am talking at the mental and physical plan. Mental love means respecting self, valuing self, saying no when you wish to say no. Similarly, at the physical plane means that we are not denying ourselves any opportunity to enjoy. It can be in the form of seeing a movie of your favourite hero or heroine, it may be buying that latest dress you liked or having that vacation..... or listening that sweet music you always loved.

What is important here is that emotional satisfaction that you are devoting quality time and attention to yourself. This emotional satisfaction will kindle in us the spiritual growth also thus improving our quality of life.

Book of Life
By Mohan Pahujani, Astrologer, Healer

Recently an article was in the media regarding how much money is required to live happily post retirement. Without repeating the details, I would like to mention that it recommended that a minimum of around five crore is required.

What ever be the amount, five, three or ten crores, my point is can this money really give a, so called ‘happy’ retired life. I think only money will not be able to give you a happy life.

What will happen is that we will keep struggling whole of active pre retirement life to achieve this target. But when retirement comes, happiness will still elude you.

So what is required to lead a happy retired life. Some of the items are:
- Health
- Peace of mind
- Harmonious relationships
- Sincere friends
- Inclination towards Spirituality
- Let go attitude
- Harmony in the family
- Hobbies
- Strength and confidence to be alone
- Willingness to learn and unlearn
- To know whom you can call in times of need
- What you can do in case of emergency, contact nos etc

In reality we are so busy making and saving money that we forget to invest our time in above aspects of life.

In fact we should maintain a dairy with a dedicated chapter on these topics and review our progress periodically. This investment of time and effort is going to facilitate happiness during our retirement life. This will be our ‘Book of life’.

Well! I can give piece of advise to younger persons to focus on these aspects of life besides making money. Sometimes we are so much engrossed in our career that we are unable to prioritise the above.

Let us at least start thinking about our priorities......

The point is what to save for retirement. Do we know?
