education, we keep introducing new subjects and concepts to our professionally designed courses of study to make it more socially relevant. Thus, we are not only maintaining the existing high standards of legal education, but are also trying to raise it to further heights. Qualitative teaching, moot-court competitions, campus placements, legal- aid services, regular discussions, and illustrious alumni are some of the features which have established CLC as a Centre of Excellence. We focus on the ‘case study’ of teaching methodology, apart from discussion method and other innovative methods. To facilitate this, updated study- material containing court judgments is provided to the students for each subject. Along with academics, we offer many co-curricular and extra- curricular activities to the students. For this purpose various societies consisting of teachers and students are formed at the beginning of the academic session. Luthra Moot Court Competition is one of the most prestigious annual events at CLC which attracts competitors from all over the world. Our students, registered with Placement Assistance Cell, get Campus Placements from big corporate houses and multinational companies, leading law firms, LPOs, KPOs, and NGOs. Our brilliant students easily get admission with scholarship, for Masters, in various universities abroad including USA and UK. This year (2013), three students- Yukti Chaudhary, Adwait Singh and Utkarsh Sharma are joining Harvard Law School, USA for their Masters in law. Promoting the concept of clinical legal education, our students are outreaching to provide socio-legal services to the community through Legal Aid Society. Regular weekly discussions are held by Seminar and Discussion Society where-in an opportunity is given to the students to make presentation on latest legislation or the court judgment. We strictly enforce, inter alia, the attendance rules -66% of lectures in each subject-; rules against sexual harassment and against ragging. We try to inculcate a culture among our students to follow the rules for the healthy growth of the institution; be fair and honest for their own inner strength and happiness and be helpful and pro-active to the needy people for the attainment of a healthy society. In this era of globalization, liberalization, and mounting corruption we are committed to produce the next generation of leaders who possess not only sharp professional skills but also high professional ethics.
