The toppers of CBSE class 10th students namely Divyanshi Wadhawa, Amishi and Harsh*ta Tanwal as well as the Class 12th toppers of Science- Falak Sharma and Kabir Mahapatra and the Humanities topper Aradhya Gupta have all been honoured with the Prerna Achievers Award 2026, by Rashtriya Shikshan Sansthan Sangthan today ie 25th May 2026 for their brilliant board results at Noida. Its a moment of great pride for all the students , parents and above all the Principal, Ms Suhasini Nath and teachers who tirelessly guided them towards achieving such bright results.

वैदिक चेतना शिविर 18 / 5 / 26 - 19 / 5 2026
डीएवी श्रेष्ठ विहार के प्रांगण में भारतीय संस्कृति, वैदिक मूल्यों तथा छात्रों में कर्तव्यों के प्रति जागरूकता उत्पन्न करने के लिए दो दिवसीय वैदिक चेतना शिविर का आयोजन किया । कक्षा छठी, सातवीं और आठवीं के छात्रों ने महर्षि दयानन्द, महात्मा हंसराज ,स्वामी श्रद्धानन्द आदि महापुरुषों के जीवन से प्रेरणा प्राप्त की।
कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता प्रधानाचार्या (Ms Suhasini Nath )श्रीमती सुहासिनी के नाथ के द्वारा दीपशिखा प्रज्वलित करके वैदिक चेतना शिविर का शुभारंभ किया गया। प्रधानाचार्या जी ने अपने आशीर्वचनों से बच्चों को सम्बोधित करते हुए वैदिक संस्कृति सभ्यता के बारे में बताया । तथा छात्रों को अच्छे काम करने के लिए प्रेरित किया ,उचित मार्गदर्शन करते हुए उनके उत्साह में वृद्धि की।
सर्वप्रथम छात्रों ने ऋचा आर्या और रेखा शर्मा के साथ साथ प्रधानाचार्या जी के साथ यज्ञशाला में हवन करके चेतना शिविर का आरम्भ किया और यज्ञ के महत्त्व को जाना।
श्रीमती रेखा गुप्ता के साथ योगाभ्यास करके बच्चों ने स्वस्थ जीवन के महत्त्व को समझा। भोजन कैसा, कब और क्यों खाना चाहिए ? इसके महत्व को जाना।
रजनीश सर द्वारा छात्रों के साथ भजनों का आनन्द लिया । श्रीमती विभा चौधरी के नेतृत्व में वैदिक चेतना शिविर पर छात्रों द्वारा प्रस्तुत नाटक का भी आनन्द लिया ।
प्रताप गिल सर, प्रभातसर ,और प्रसून सर ने चित्रकला के माध्यम से ईश्वर का निज नाम ओ३म् को सही रूप में लिखना सीखा । अन्त में सुपरवाइजर श्रीमती लक्ष्मी नेगी, श्रीमती सिमी खुराना ने शिविर में अनुशासन में रहने वाले छात्रों के, सभी कार्यक्रमों में अच्छे से काम करने वाले छात्रों के उत्साह वर्धन के लिए पुरस्कार वितरण किया।

A Parent Orientation Programme for Class IX was conducted under the able guidance of respected Principal ma'am and the Secondary Supervisors Mr. Ashok Goel and Ms. Deepti Chawla. The parents were briefed about the curriculum changes introduced under the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) and the National Education Policy (NEP) for the academic session 2026–27. The programme aimed to familiarize parents with the new educational approach and assessment patterns being implemented in schools.
The Principal welcomed the parents and highlighted the importance of holistic and competency-based learning. Teachers explained the major changes in the curriculum, including experiential learning, integration of skills and values, project-based activities, and greater emphasis on critical thinking and communication skills. Parents were also informed about the revised assessment structure, which focuses not only on rote learning but also on conceptual understanding and application of knowledge.
Special attention was given to multidisciplinary learning, use of technology in education, and promotion of Indian languages and culture as recommended by NEP. The grading and evaluation system, portfolio assessment, and competency-based questions were also discussed in detail.
The session concluded with an interactive discussion where parents shared their queries and suggestions. Overall, the orientation programme proved informative and helped parents understand their role in supporting their children through the new curriculum changes.

An interactive French workshop was conducted under the guidance of UNESCO publication resource person Elisa Stephen for the students of French language. The workshop aimed at enhancing students’ communication skills and developing their interest in French language and culture through engaging activities.

The session was highly interactive and included pronunciation exercises, conversational activities, vocabulary games, role plays, and cultural discussions. Students enthusiastically participated in the activities and gained confidence in speaking simple French sentences. Ms. Alizée Stéphan encouraged students to use French in everyday communication and introduced them to various aspects of French culture, traditions, and expressions.

The workshop created a joyful learning environment where students learned through participation and collaboration. It proved to be an enriching experience for both students and teachers, inspiring learners to explore the French language with greater enthusiasm.

The Primary Classes of DAV Public School Sreshtha Vihar ,Delhi enthusiastically celebrated Science Week from 11th May 2026 to 15th May 2026 with great excitement and curiosity. The week was full of fun-filled learning activities that encouraged students to explore the wonders of science through hands-on experiences.

Students participated in small and interesting science experiments such as floating and sinking objects, colour mixing, balloon activities, simple reactions using safe household materials, STEM challenges.These activities helped children understand scientific concepts in an enjoyable and practical way.

The Science Week was a wonderful learning experience for all students. It successfully sparked curiosity, developed scientific thinking, and made learning science enjoyable and meaningful.

Our respected Principal Ma’am Mrs. Suhasini K Nath guided and motivated the students to actively engage themselves in such activities to enhance their scientific temperament, curiosity, and creative thinking. Her encouraging words inspired the children to explore, observe, and learn science with enthusiasm.

The school bid farwell recently to Ms. Indu Bhaskar. She was one of the longest serving staff member working very efficiently in the Administrative department of the school. Ms.Indu was not only very committed in her work but also very amicable in nature. This helped her to win many friends from both the teaching and non teaching staff alike. The school Princpal Ms. Suhasini K. Nath and the staff too wished her all good health and happiness in her post retirement days.

Amishi Goel of Class XII-E participated in a Model United Nations (MUN) conference held on 17th and 18th April at Shri Ram College of Commerce. She represented Uganda in the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW) committee. The agenda focused on ensuring climate-resilient maternal and reproductive healthcare in vulnerable regions. Through her active participation, research, and diplomatic skills, she was awarded an Honourable Mention for her performance.
