Our traditional yearly commemoration took place on the 11th April at Darjeeling to remember the founder of Modern Tibetan Studies, Alexander Csoma de Kőrös.
This year, our guest, Ferencz Éva, President of Kőrösi Csoma Sándor Közművelődési Egyesület paid her tribute at the grave and presented the activities of her institute at the Manjushree Center Of Tibetan Culture Darjeeling.
Köves Mári, Hungarian visiting lecturer at Department of Slavonic & Finno Ugrian Studies, University of Delhi and her students has also joined the events at the Old Cemetery and at the totem pole, maintained in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Darjeeling as well.
