German tip you’ll actually use: "Das ist zu groß.“ works, but in a fitting room, you can be much more specific. 🇩🇪

Try these instead:

"Das sitzt an den Schultern zu eng.“
It is too tight around the shoulders.

"Der Schnitt ist mir etwas zu weit.“
The cut is a little too loose for me.

"Der Stoff fühlt sich angenehm an.“
The fabric feels comfortable.

Useful words to remember:

eng = tight
weit = loose
angenehm = comfortable / pleasant

The more specific your vocabulary becomes, the easier it is to explain exactly what you mean in real conversations.

Which word was new for you? Comment "eng, weit, or angenehm" below and save this for your next shopping trip. 👇

You can forget the verb.
You can forget the sentence.

But forget the article? 😭

Teacher: 👁️👁️

And yes… it’s "die Tür". 🚪

Tag the friend who still chooses der / die / das based on vibes. 💀

Sometimes the best German practice is hiding in the most ordinary moments.

This reel isn’t really about "how to boil water". 😄
It’s about learning to describe what you’re doing directly in German, without translating every thought first.

"den Stecker in die Steckdose stecken“
"den Wasserkocher anmachen“
"das Wasser ins Glas eingießen“

These are simple actions, but narrating them helps you practise vocabulary, sentence structure, and spontaneous speaking in a way that actually connects to everyday life. 🔄

You don’t always need a complicated topic to practise German.

Pick one simple thing you do today and try explaining the entire process only in German. 🇩🇪

What would you describe first? 👇

German tip you’ll actually use: rescheduling an appointment doesn’t have to sound abrupt.

Instead of just saying you can’t make it, try these:

"Ich muss meinen Termin leider verschieben.“
Unfortunately, I need to reschedule my appointment.

"Wäre nächste Woche noch etwas frei?“
Would anything be available next week?

"Könnten Sie mir den neuen Termin kurz bestätigen?“
Could you briefly confirm the new appointment?

These small phrases make your German sound more polite, clear, and natural in real conversations.

Now complete this one:

"Wäre ______ noch etwas frei?“

Need the appointment on Friday? Write the full sentence in German below. 👇

Save this for your next appointment in Germany.

This is exactly why we do what we do. ❤️

She started her German journey feeling afraid to speak. Today, listening her speak German with confidence means more to us than simply completing another level.

At The German Language Haus, grammar and vocabulary matter, but they are only tools. The real goal is helping you understand, express yourself, and speak German with confidence.

Feedback like this reminds us why we started in the first place.

So proud of your progress, and thank you for trusting us with your journey. 🇩🇪

German tip you’ll actually use: sounding fluent isn’t only about speaking longer.

Sometimes, it’s about asking a better follow-up question.

Instead of letting the conversation end after one answer, try:

"Wie bist du dazu gekommen?“
How did you get into that?

"Was gefällt dir am meisten daran?“
What do you like most about it?

"Würdest du das noch einmal machen?“
Would you do it again?

Questions like these make conversations feel more natural, help you learn more about the other person, and give you more chances to actually use your German.

A meaningful conversation often starts with one good follow-up.

Pick one question and answer it in German in the comments. 👇

"Wir planen etwas zusammen“ sounded so innocent… until A2 Sprechen turned it into a full negotiation. 😭💀

A2 learners, you KNOW the tension.

Tag the person you’d trust as your Prüfungspartner.😂
