RULES & REGULATIONS
1. All interested participants are required to send a 2-3 min video of their monologue.
2. Participants can perform any pre written or self written monologue ( Please try to avoid any famous bollywood monologue )
3. No form of video editing/formatting will be entertained. Participants can add background music to the video if required
4. Please note , participants not adhering to the rules shall be disqualified
5. Upload your monologues on your google drive and paste the link to the same in our Audition form to participate( It should be access free so that there is no restriction in viewing your monologue)

The Extra curricular activities (ECA) has been introduced in Delhi University nearly 5 years ago, is considered as a progressive approach by Delhi University which comprehends the development of students. It has been a platform for the students who have developed and practiced these activities throughout their school life.
There are 14 such recognized activities under the ECA category - namely Creative writing, Dance, Debate, Fine arts, Music, Instrumental music including Tabla, sitar, harmonium, guitar, Dholak, drums and Sarod ; Theatre, NCC, NSS and Yoga among others. The ECA quota reserves upto 5 percent seats in colleges for the students with these exceptional talents.

As people we do realise the disturbance caused in the Normal functioning of several administrations due to the pandemic situation, yet everyone on their level best are trying to work ways though the difficult times.

Around thousands of students get admissions in Delhi University through ECA quota every year. It is a roadmap for the students who are unable to get though the standard cut-off list by even 1-2 percent. Henceforth it is a remarkable approach which promotes the holistic development and the cultural activities that are held in several colleges during the course of an year. It is a great way to break the monotony from studies and develops young minds.

However, this year Delhi University has decided not to accept addmissions trough the ECA quota, as they believe it will not be possible to conduct online trials for the students. Where in the same University have been trying to conduct online examination for the students despite several technical complications.
Astitva, Theatre Society of Dyal Singh College (M) strongly believe that scrapping off the ECA quota for this academic year is unacceptable, and the university must take this into consideration
