A 2 day student outreach programme - BaNI and BioSCOPE was held at Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh under the aegis of DBT Star College Project (Zoology), Ramjas College in Collaboration with Deen Dayal Upadhyay and Acharya Narendra Dev College.
The Programmes witness an array of events such as lectures on enriching scientific temper, Quiz Competitions, Talent Hunts, Kabbadi & Volleyball competition, etc. The events were successfully organised by staff , Phd Students (University of Delhi) and faculty of the colleges.
The participation at the end of the students from the schools was overwhelming.

On 16 and 17 September 2019, The Wellness and Counseling Unit and DBT Star College Project ( Dept. Of Zoology ) , Ramjas Chapter organised a mental health workshop with "Psychological Efficacy" , "Loneliness" and "Anger & Stress management" as the core topics.
The event marked a jubilant audience comprising of staff and students from different colleges who were enlightened about the issues that shall enable them to paint a jolly portrait.

On 23 February, 2019 , a one day workshop for developing hands-on computational biology for (meta) genomic analysis was organised by Department of Zoology (A Star Status Department) under the aegis of DBT- Star College Project.
Dr. Rup Lal, Former professor of Department of Zoology, Delhi University and Managing Director , Phixgen Pvt. Ltd. inaugurated the workshop with his intriguing lecture on introduction to computational biology and bioinformatics . Dr. Vipin Gupta and Dr. Utkarsh Sood, Co-directors, Phixgen Pvt. Ltd. further enlightened the participants in the next sessions. About 50 students of B.Sc. (H) Zoology, Ramjas College attended the event.
