MACMUN 2011 was organized by Business Economics Association, Maharaja Agrasen College, University of Delhi, in collaboration with the UN Information Centre for India and Bhutan. The Conference in 2011 consisted of the following Three committees
MACMUN was a Two-Day

conference international and was held on the 8th and 5th of November,2011. Maharaja Agrasen College, Delhi University Introduces its First MUN Conference in collaboration with Unted Nations Information Centre for India and Bhutan! For the first time in a MUN an International Cricket Committee is Introduced! MUN is an academic simulation of the United Nations that aims to educate participants about current events, topics in international relations, diplomacy and the United Nations agenda. The MAC MUN 2011 also features ICC which is a new and innovative committee. THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY is the main policy making and deliberative organ of the United Nations. All the member nations have equal representation under the general assembly. Its powers are to appoint the non-permanent members to the Security council, receive reports from other parts of the United Nations and make
recommendations for it.It now has 45 members. It also plays a significant role in the process of standard-setting and the codification of international law. The Assembly meets in regular session intensively from September to December each year, and thereafter as required. THE UNITED NATIONS SECURITY COUNCIL has primary responsibility, under the Charter, for the maintenance of international peace and security. It is so organized as to be able to function continuously, and a representative of each of its members must be present at all times at United Nations Headquarters. The Presidency of the Council rotates monthly, according to the English alphabetical listing of its member States. INTERNATIONAL CRICKET COUNCIL is responsible for the organisation and governance of cricket's major international tournaments.It has 14 Full and Affiliate members. It also appoints the umpires and referees that officiate at all sanctioned Test matches, One Day International and Twenty20 Internationals. It promulgates the ICC Code of Conduct, which sets professional standards of discipline for international cricket, and also co-ordinates action against corruption and match-fixing.
