A big thanks to the IDP team for their continued support and for providing valuable resources that help trainers deliver better guidance to IELTS aspirants.

On 28 July 2026, I had the opportunity to attend an orientation session conducted by IDP at the IDP CD IELTS Test Centre, Delhi. The session focused on the paper-based IELTS Writing module, while the remaining sections of the IELTS test are completed on a computer in the hybrid test format.

Many candidates believe that writing on paper is more challenging than typing on a computer. However, with the right strategies, consistent handwriting practice, effective time management, and a clear understanding of the IELTS assessment criteria, students can perform with confidence in the paper-based Writing test.

The session gave me a deeper understanding of the test format, the actual test-day experience, and the assessment process. These valuable insights will help me provide even better guidance to my IELTS students and support them in achieving their target band scores.

I truly appreciate opportunities like these to expand my knowledge, stay updated with the latest IELTS testing practices, and continue growing as an IELTS trainer.

Wishing all IELTS aspirants every success in their preparation and future endeavours!

I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the opportunity to attend Pearson's PTE Scoring Decoded session.

A special thanks to one of our Pearson team leads for making it possible for me to be part of this valuable learning experience.

It was an insightful session that explained how the PTE Academic scoring system actually works and the research behind the assessment process. Learning directly from David Booth, Director of Test Development, and Dan Doyle, Head of Product Management, made the session even more meaningful. Their expertise provided a deeper understanding of the scoring methodology and the rigorous processes that ensure the assessment is fair, reliable, and accurate.

As a PTE trainer, opportunities like these are invaluable. They help me enhance my professional knowledge and enable me to better guide my students towards achieving their target scores with confidence.

My sincere thanks to the Pearson PTE team for organizing such an informative and engaging session. Continuous learning is essential for every educator, and I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from industry experts. I look forward to applying these valuable insights in my classroom and helping my students prepare more effectively for their PTE Academic journey.
