A big thanks to the IDP team for their continued support and for providing valuable resources that help trainers deliver better guidance to IELTS aspirants.

On 28 July 2026, I had the opportunity to attend an orientation session conducted by IDP at the IDP CD IELTS Test Centre, Delhi. The session focused on the paper-based IELTS Writing module, while the remaining sections of the IELTS test are completed on a computer in the hybrid test format.

Many candidates believe that writing on paper is more challenging than typing on a computer. However, with the right strategies, consistent handwriting practice, effective time management, and a clear understanding of the IELTS assessment criteria, students can perform with confidence in the paper-based Writing test.

The session gave me a deeper understanding of the test format, the actual test-day experience, and the assessment process. These valuable insights will help me provide even better guidance to my IELTS students and support them in achieving their target band scores.

I truly appreciate opportunities like these to expand my knowledge, stay updated with the latest IELTS testing practices, and continue growing as an IELTS trainer.
