📚 Fahem Delhi Reading Club Book Talk

Fahem Delhi Reading Club recently hosted a thought-provoking book talk on "Na-Jins aur Islam: Inhirafi Jinsi Rawayyoñ ka Nafsi-Ma‘asharti Bayaniya"
by Dr. Mohammed Rizwan (Director, CSR).

Dr. Rizwan offered deep insights into the LGBTQIA+ discourse, engaging with its various dimensions through an Islamic lens.

The session witnessed active participation from over 30 research scholars, students, and academics from diverse universities, making it a vibrant space for critical reflection and dialogue.

The Fahem Delhi Reading Club organized a discussion on the book Islam and Democracy in the 21st Century by Tauseef Ahmad Parray, published by Oxford University Press. The event was held on 19 May 2024, at the Library, Students Centre in Abul Fazal Enclave, Jamia Nagar, Okhla.

The discussion featured Dr. Owais Manzoor Dar, a guest faculty member from the Department of Islamic Studies at Jamia Millia Islamia. Dr. Dar provided insightful commentary on the book, emphasizing the critical intersection between Islam and democratic values in contemporary times.

Dr. Dar began the discussion by outlining the book's main themes, highlighting how the author, Tauseef Ahmad Parray, explores the compatibility of Islamic principles with democratic governance.
