Democracy, Equality, Emancipation of Women There has been an effort to identify the effects of policies, movements and disparate trends on women.

As the largest women's organisation in the country, AIDWA has tried to address issues related to women from varied sections of society. The organization has relentlessly tried to mainstream issues affecting different sections of women differently by bringing all sections unitedly into the movement for equality. Today its membership is more than 1 crore, 20 lakhs, with a vast majority being drawn from the underprivileged and marginalized sections of society.

In the village of Jaipur in West Bengal's Bankura District, a 21-year- old BJP worker lured a seven-year old minor girl away with the promise of ice cream and subsequently r***d her. Following a protest by AIDWA and their subsequent representation to the police administration regarding the incident, the accused has been arrested. Today our state secretary Monalisa Sinha accompanied by the other leaders submitted a deputation at the local police station demanding exemplary punishment for the accused. They also met with the victim's family and assured them of full legal assistance.

अखिल भारतीय जनवादी महिला समिति, (एडवा) बिहार भाजपा सरकार के शिक्षा मंत्री का महिला विरोधी बयान का घोर निंदा करती है। बिहार का शिक्षा मंत्री मिथलेश तिवारी का यह बयान कि लड़कियों को मैदान में आने की क्या जरूरत है वो घर में ही चहारदीवारी के अंदर ही ठीक लगती है यह मनुवादी सोच है। इसी सोच की वजह से आज महिलाऐं और बच्चीयों के साथ सामूहिक बलात्कार, हत्या, छेड़खानी, की घटना बढ़ी है। बिहार में जब से भाजपा की सरकार बनी है महिलाऐं असुरक्षित हो गई है।
