महोदय,
पिछले दो महीने से अपने ही हाल पर हैरान हूं, अपने ही गेट पर लगे ताले से परेशान हूं। हर पीरियड पर बजने वाली घंटी भी चुप है, नीला बैंच बिना अटेंडेंस के बदहाल है। ब्लैबोर्ड और चॉक मिलने को बेताब है, स्मार्टबोर्ड जाग उठने को तैयार है। वॉटरकूलर पुकारते फिरते है जिनको उन शरारती किलकारियों का इंतज़ार है। फुबॉल फील्ड बढ़ी हुई घास से परेशान है, अब तो बंद खिड़कियों से हवा भी नहीं आती, दीवारें भी नहीं बुलाती। सन्नाटे की गूंज बहुत तेज है,मानो पूरा स्कूल लायब्रेरी बन गया हो, गार्ड अंकल की ऊंची मूंछों का ताव कम हो गया है। सब एक ही बात पूछते है कि वो हैरान परेशान करने वाले शोर मचाते बच्चे कब आएंगे, क्योंकि जब वो आएंगे तो हम सब जीवित हो उठेंगे और उनका दोनों बाहे फैलाए स्वागत करेंगे। बोलिए ना वो कब आएंगे!
