In continuation to the pre-service teacher education reforms workshop, held on 22nd June 2023 at DIET Moti Bagh , the suggestive guidelines have been finalised on various dimensions such as, annual calendar, classroom pedagogy, school experience program, personality enhancement, assessment practices, placement cell, alumni association etc. among other initiatives.

Day one of the second workshop on Pre- Service reforms at DIET Moti Bagh was a day full of creative ideas and brainstorming in which faculty members from all DIETs of Delhi and Self finance institutions affiliated to SCERT DELHI took part.

In depth discussions regarding key areas in which reforms in
Pre-service teacher education program are needed were deliberated upon by all.

A half day Hands-on training on vidyanjali portal for Resource Persons conducted at DIET Moti Bagh on 2nd June 2023 for CRCCs of South, South West-A, South West -B, South East District participated.
Dr. Manisha Taneja Nodal Officer Volunteer - Vidyanjali Delhi , Mr. B.R Yadav, Ms. Nikhat facilitated the program.
Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Principal DIET RKP motivated the participants.
Dr. Neelam INSET head DIET MB welcomed the Facilitators and participants.
Online Portal training was given, participants queries were taken and Introduced new mentor/mentee program to them.

Two days workshop on Pre Service reforms concluded today at DIET Moti Bagh in which Principals and faculty from DIETs and SCERT DELHI , participated.
Road map for strengthening pre-service teacher education of Delhi DIETs was developed with brainstorming on some of the key areas like development of Annual Calender, model time table, School Internship reforms, Student exchange program in Delhi and other states,
Morning assembly,
Local and out station educational excursions etc.
This work shall be continued further in coming weeks till it takes a final perfect shape.

Day 1 • 18/05/2023

The Pre-Service Cell has successfully concluded Day 1 of a 2-day workshop on Pre-Service Reforms at DIET Moti Bagh . Principals, PSTE Heads/ Incharges and senior faculty from SCERT DELHI and 9 DIETs participated and deliberated on the various aspects of revised D.El.Ed curriculum and the way forward.

Hon'ble Joint Director, SCERT Dr. Nahar Singh addressed the participants and shared his views, while Principal DIET Moti Bagh and Pre-Service Nodal Officer, Dr. Suman Nehra facilitated the workshop.
Dr. Seema Srivastava briefly discussed the outlines of the revised curriculum of D.El.Ed first year.
In the second half, Dr. Sangeeta Chaudhary, PSTE Head, DIET Moti Bagh, initiated a small group discussion on pre- service reforms and planning.

DIET Moti Bagh celebrated its annual sports meet on 16th March 2023 with great enthusiasm, passion ,love and game spirit. All DIET Faculties and Trainees participated in variety of games and enjoyed themselves.

Dr. Suman Nehra, Principal DIET Moti Bagh inaugurated the Annual Sports Meet by cutting ribbon and motivated the trainees to take part in the games as much as they can.

Glimpses of International Women's day and Holi Celebrations at DIET Moti Bagh

On Women's Day, we honored the incredible women in our lives who inspire and motivate us every day. We took a moment to reflect on the progress that has been made towards gender equality, and pledged to continue working towards a world where everyone is treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their gender.

And on Holi, we immersed ourselves in colors of love, spreading happiness and cheer. We danced, sang, and enjoyed delicious food with our loved ones, all while embracing the spirit of inclusivity and harmony that is at the heart of this beautiful festival.

As we reflect on these two special occasions, we are reminded of the importance of coming together to celebrate our differences and our shared humanity. We are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate with our friends, family, and community, and we look forward to many more happy occasions in the future.

2 Days Post-NAS orientation programme for TDCs , District Coordinators and Hub Incharges of South District was conducted successfully at DIET Moti Bagh on 24/02/2023 & 27/02/2023.

The Objectives of the Program were:-

1. How to achieve learning outcome which were not achieved in NAS 2021.
2. To Discuss on Post NAS Interventions.
3. To Develop strategies for achieving these learning outcomes.

DDE-South Sh. Ashok Kumar Tyagi also came to motivate the participants. He also took feedback on what they have learnt in these 2 Days of training, listened to the difficulties and challenges being faced by them and emphasized on achieving the learning outcomes in a strategic manner.

Dr. Suman Nehra, Principal DIET Moti Bagh thanked Sh. Ashok Kumar Tyagi (DDE South) for coming and assured him for the academic support from DIET Moti Bagh.

An extension lecture on " NEP 2020" for D.El.Ed Trainees was conducted today at DIET Moti Bagh
The Session was taken by Dr. Manisha Sharma(Principal at Venkateshwar International School Sec-10 Dwarka).

Dr. Manisha Sharma possesses more than 34 years of experience as Senior Teacher , Head of Department and School administrator in many prestigious schools across India and has been awarded with many a times for her contribution in education system.

She Explained the new education policy very well and covered major aspects of it in a limited time slot.

We are grateful to her for sparing her valuable time for our trainees.

The Session was very informative & fruitful for the trainees as well as faculties who attended it.

DIET Moti Bagh conducted 2 days workshop on " Yuva life skills" for D.El.Ed 1st year trainees under the kind guidance of Principal Dr. Suman nehra and in cooordinatorship of Assistant professor Dr. Neelam.

Annual PAC 2023-24 of DIET Moti Bagh was conducted at SCERT DELHI today. The meeting was chaired by Joint Director, SCERT- Dr. Nahar Singh. Principal- Dr. Suman Nehra presented the work report of session 2022-23, and also shared the vision and mission for current academic year 2023-24. Mr. Joginder Kumar briefed the proposed projects and activities to PAC members. Valuable suggestions were given by the experts to project coordinators for the betterment. With Vote of thanks, the meeting ended successfully.

Storytelling has been a part of teaching since the beginning of human Communication. Everyone loves listening stories as they are full of suspense and unprecedented ending.
Stories not only helps in teaching but also developed curiosity and listening skills.

One day workshop on "Storytelling Pedagogy in English Language" was organised for D.El.Ed trainees under the coordinatorship of Mr. Rajeev Kumar Jha -Assistant Professor DIET Moti Bagh

PMU team of DIET Moti Bagh organised Nukkad Natak on NIPUN Bharat. Faculty and staff members of DIET, Moti Bagh facilitated smooth conduct of the program. DIET Trainees performed very well under the guidance of Salim Sir, theatre BRP of DIET Daryaganj, Delhi . Trainees took out the rally and performed the play to ensure community awareness regarding FLN - NIPUN Bharat Mission in a fun manner. Special thanks to Dr. Rama Srivastava to provide guidance to the students to manage their SEP schools and Nukkad Natak. NIPUN Nodal SCERT DELHI TEAM lead by Dr. Geeta and SSA Nodal , Shilpa Grewal joined and actively provide valuable and key inputs in the program along with PMU team of respective DIETs.

Special thanks to Dr. Suman Nehra (Principal DIET Moti Bagh) for organizing such event.

A research colloquium was organized on 30.11.22 at DIET Motibagh.
The event was held in the PMU room and was conducted by the District Research Forum (DRF) team. The session was started with the warm welcome and inaugural speech given by Dr. Suman Nehra, Principal at DIET Moti Bagh. The colloquium was attended by the members of District Research Forum and faculty members of DIET Motibagh.
Dr. Navindra Bai, Asstt. Prof., presented her PAC approved research on the topic “The effectiveness of Parental Involvement (PI) on Students academic Achievement and Classroom Behavior”.
She explained about the background, objectives, Research questions, hypotheses of her study. Further, she described about the type of study, sampling techniques applied, sample size taken, tools used and educational implications of her study.
A healthy discussion was carried out amongst the participants.
After discussion few suggestions were shared by the participants related to some changes to be made in the framing of the topic and tools for HoS, teachers and students.
Dr. Navindra agreed to incorporate the suggestions forwarded by the participants in her proposal which will help in refinement of the proposal.
The event was concluded successfully with the participants getting an insight about this research.

PMU team , DIET Moti Bagh visited SDMC, Hauzrani Urdu school to conduct Post Assessment study of Vidyarambh. Students were very excited to do the activities. Two activities that they loved the most were clay work and drawing. Apart from recording the Post Assessment data, a discussion with the staff was held to improve FLN skills in the students.

Room to Read resource persons and PMU , DIET Moti Bagh visited MCD Pri. School No.1 ( Boys), Dr. Ambedkar Nagar and MCD pri. School No. 2 ( girls) , Deoli for collecting Baseline Assessment data of students. The students had performed well. Apart from it , FLN literacy materials were checked in the schools, teachers were given some directions to use Vidyarambh study materials in a better way and teachers were oriented about NIPUN Bharat Mission.

3 Days Training Program for Mentor Teachers on Creating "Student Friendly Schools" organized by SCERT DELHI , at DIET Moti Bagh under the guidance of Principal DIET Moti Bagh and Nodal officer Ms. Shipla Sud, SCERT Delhi, from 14/11/22 to 16/11/22 completed successfully.
