Culture exchange experience. Our volunteers visit local's home where they get to chat with local family over the India's favourite drink masala chai. Later with their host family enter into the kitchen and cook some delicious Indian home style food. The cooked meal will be the dinner in a homely environment. EVENING GANGA AARTI (prayer) in Varanasi is a Spiritual yet flamboyant affair as silk clad brahmin (priest) perform the rituals. Flaming lamps, incense sticks and Yak tails fans are waved devotionally with chanting the sacred mantras. Bells and conch shells are sounded rhythmically during the ritual. The smell of burning camphor and incense stick will invoke a sense of reverence in any bystander. The combination factors during the Ganga Aarti makes it quite a mesmerizing affair as you watch the whole ritual transfixed.
