Amidst the nationwide lockdown due to coronavirus pandemic, students and teachers are advised to continue classes over the internet. However, slower internet speed and connectivity are emerging as issues for professors of Delhi University while conducting classes online for thousands of students. Digital platforms like Whatsapp, Skype, Zoom app are being used by the professors and students to continue with the classes. “To maintain continuity in the teaching-learning process in all undergraduate and postgraduate programmes study material shall be made available on a weekly basis on the website by the respective teachers of all departments/colleges /centres,” the university had said.

Coronavirus pandemic has impacted every individual. People are locked down inside homes and have no idea regarding the pending work load. Education sector has also suffered great losses. Students of Class 10th and 12th are worried regarding their pending examinations. To overcome this, The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that it will conduct class 10 and 12 examinations for only 29 main subjects which are crucial for promotion and admission to higher educational institutions. Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' announced that, “Whenever CBSE is in a position to hold board exams, it shall conduct for 29 subjects by giving adequate notice. For rest of the subjects, CBSE will not hold board exams and instructions for their marking, assessment will be issued soon."
