DTU ALTAIR has achieved the 2nd rank in the world, in the PDR (Preliminary Design Report) round of the CANSAT 2021 competition, which is funded by Siemens, Lockheed Martin, Kratos, and Praxis and organized by NASA and the American Astronomical Society.

For their hard work and commitment on this project, our team members deserve all of the credit. We're ecstatic to be moving on to the CDR (Critical Design Report) phase

Hello everyone!

We are DTU ALTAIR, the robotics team of DTU. We work on, invent, and compete globally in robotics innovation and design competitions. We are a well-established team that is among India's best and have competed and excelled internationally at events like Technoxian and World Robot contests finals in China. Last year we also participated in the worldwide Cansat Competition organized by American Astronautical Society and sponsored by NASA, Lockheed Martin and U.S. Naval Research Laboratory. We secured 1st position in India and 6th globally. Our team also participates in and excels at various tech fests and events organized in top colleges in India. Apart from competitions, we also focus on solving real-world problems through the power of robotics by working on innovative research projects.

We are looking for creative and passionate individuals who have little to no knowledge of robotics (we don’t mind if you’re professional either!), with a lot of heart and will to learn. Your seniors are there for all the guidance you need to succeed in the domain and win championships.

We would gladly welcome newcomers in the field to join us for a one-of-a-kind experience with robots and drones, to learn, grow and achieve while identifying themselves with us.

It has been a long journey from 41st position in PDR phase last year to global rank 6 and rank 1 in the INDIA in our second attempt. Team DTU-ALTAIR thanks everyone who pushed through this tough time to give their best and helped us in achieving this goal.
