“A seed of awareness planted today grows into a lifetime of responsibility.”

With this spirit, our students participated in an enriching workshop at the Mahatma Gandhi Institute for Combating Climate Change, Bakoli, Delhi, led by Dr. Narender Kumar.

The session introduced students to kitchen gardening, organic alternatives to chemical fertilizers, soil preparation, humus, liquid manure and the effective use of household organic waste for composting. A meaningful step towards inspiring young minds to adopt sustainable practices and care for our planet.

No fire, yet so much passion.

Our Flame-less Cooking Activity proved that the brightest sparks come not from fire, but from creativity, teamwork, and confidence.
Through this activity, students learned that fruits are rich in vitamins, vegetables provide fibre and minerals, and paneer is a good source of protein. They also practised proper hygiene and healthy eating habits.
Because the finest ingredients are not found only in the kitchen—they are curiosity, kindness, confidence, and healthy choices.

D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything And Read) period at Dayanand Public School is truly dear to us all.

In a world that always tells us to rush, opening a book feels like someone gently taking your hand and transporting you to another world. It slows us down, sparks our imagination, gives us immense pleasure, and reminds us of the pure joy found in turning a page.

During this time, all students, teachers, and the administrative staff are supposed to drop everything else and read. We either bring our own books or get them issued in advance from our school library, a rich library we can proudly boast of.

Who says Saturdays are only for relaxing? Come to Dayanand.
A random, productive Saturday unfolded in the most beautiful way, some finding peace at the Gurudwara, some laughing away at the pool, warm soup after the pool party to beat the chill, a food-diversity activity sharing flavours from different cultures, and an educational movie telecast that gently held everyone’s attention.
