Being a trainer I come across this question where students ask me the best possible answer,"Tell me something about yourself??"
Here are a few guidelines that can help you to answer this question in an easy way.
1.Always wear your smile .It helps in reducing your nervousness and makes you more confident.
2.Do not cram your content .Make it sound as natural as it can be.
3.Let the flow of communication be a 2 way conversation and not one sided .It might make the interviewer loose an interest on you.
4.Make sure that you pertain to Active Listening Skills and then give a reply.
5.If you fail to understand the question please ask the interviewer to repeat it in a polite way.There is no harm in it.
6.Choose the right words and do not fumble while speaking.
7.Be confident about whatever you speak and do not speak about something that you do not have reasons too.
