Report: Russian House Cultural Conference – 3 May 2026
Our school had the proud opportunity to participate in a prestigious cultural conference organized by the Russian House, New Delhi, on 3 May 2026. The event celebrated cultural exchange and artistic excellence, with participation from many reputed schools across Delhi.
Representing S.D. Public School, Punjabi Bagh, two talented Class IX students, Kanishka and Faguni, impressed the audience with their energetic Folk Punjabi dance performance. Their presentation was highly appreciated by the distinguished guests and fellow participants.
For their outstanding performance, both students were awarded certificates of appreciation and special gifts by the Head of the Representative Office of Rossotrudnichestvo in India.
This achievement was made possible due to the dedicated efforts of our dance teacher, Ms. Nidhi Sharma, whose hard work, guidance, and creative vision helped transform practice sessions into an excellent stage performance.
We also express our sincere gratitude to our respected Principal, Mrs. Smriti Malhotra, and the SDPS school management for their continuous support and encouragement. Their vision to promote art and culture, along with their belief in students’ abilities, made this opportunity possible.
We thank Russian House for organizing such a wonderful event that promotes cultural harmony among youth. The entire SDPS family congratulates Kanishka and Faguni for making the school proud and wishes them a bright future.

SD Public School organized an insightful career counseling workshop for Class XII students to help them navigate future academic pathways. The founder of Career Gurukul graced the session as the guest speaker and engaged students with valuable information on diverse courses, emerging career options, and reputed colleges across India. The interactive workshop addressed students’ queries about stream selection, entrance exams, and scholarship opportunities. Students gained clarity on aligning their interests and aptitudes with suitable career choices. The school’s initiative aimed to empower students to make informed decisions about their higher education and professional journeys after school.

SD Public School proudly celebrated the remarkable achievement of its Class X toppers today. The school congratulated the three highest achievers for their outstanding academic performance.
Garima Chawla secured the first position, followed by Ridhi in the second position, and Nimish Garg who achieved the third position. Their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence brought pride to the school.
The Principal, Ms. Smrity Malhotra, extended her heartfelt congratulations to the students and their parents. She appreciated their consistent efforts and encouraged all students to strive for similar success in their academic journeys.
