Jokes apart, You must have experienced that if you are travelling in a vehicle, if the break is applied then you moved in forward direction, and if it accelerates then you moved in backward...

This is explained by Newton's First Law, which states that the object at rest remains at rest, and the object in motion remains in motion.

Until and unless the external force is applied.

It means if break is applied vehicle becomes at rest but your upper body still in motion and moves forward.

If it's accelerated then your body tends to remain at rest and you feel a backward motion.

Aldehyde is a carbonyl group( >C=O ) containing compound.

Aldehyde is reduced to give corresponding alcohol.

Hydrogen alone can't reduce an aldehyde for this purpose.

But it can be done with a catalyst like Nickel, Palladium or Platinum.

These catalyst provide a large surface area for this reaction to proceed.

There's a lot of benefits of using technology including

But there are consequences as well.

● More Energy consumption, that leads to more energy production
● Electronic waste that is less likely to decompose easily
● Most people less likely to get knowledge from it, they just need entertainment from that device and wasting a lot time.

Steric Hinderance affects the Sn2 reaction the most.

If the Halide in Alkyl Halide attached to a Carbon which is hindered with branching in nearby carbon in that molecule, it is less favorable that Sn2 mechanism occurs.
