Republic Day was celebrated in our school on 24th January with great enthusiasm.
Students actively participated in various activities.The celebration filled the school with a sense of pride, unity, and patriotism.

The students of Class-I have presented a Special Assembly on Republic Day with a theme *Celebrating the Courage and Bravery of Indian Armed Forces*. The students tried hard to showcase the glimpses of a Republic Day Parade held at Kartavya Path every year.They also took a oath to be a responsible citizen and would contribute towards a peaceful and developed nation.🇮🇳🇮🇳

On 23rd January, our school celebrated Basant Panchami with great joy and devotion.
The celebration began with Aarti, bhajans, and chants, creating a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere.
Prasad was distributed among the students, adding to the festive spirit.
The children participated enthusiastically and enjoyed the celebration with great excitement and devotion.

Makar Sankranti is a major harvest festival celebrated across India in mid-January. It marks the Sun’s transition into the zodiac sign Makara, signifying longer days and the end of winter. The festival represents new beginnings, prosperity, and gratitude to nature for a splendid harvest.

Columbia City Schools extends warm wishes to all on the joyous occasion of Lohri. This vibrant festival marks the end of winter and celebrates the spirit of harvest, prosperity, and togetherness. Observed with traditional songs, dances, and the lighting of the bonfire, Lohri reminds us of gratitude for nature’s abundance and the joy of sharing happiness with family and community.
