By this time , Mughal empire had been declining and new regional kingdoms were emerging .Both the European companies utilised the weaknesses of these smaller kingdoms and dragged them also in the wars. Finally , the British East India company was victorious and French were
just reduced to keep in possession their factories and merely for the purpose of trade . The British East India company gradually defeated subsequent Indian kingdoms and established it's rule over India.

Netaji's contribution to India has largely been overlooked or under-emphasized. It is time we revisit his ideas which could give us answers to many pressing problems India encounters today.
