“Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other.”

Investiture  means a formal investing of a person with authority, power, right and dignity. The ceremony was to badge the leaders of academic year (2026-27) who would be leading this year’s all the curricular and co-curricular activities and work with the team effort and bring out new and challenging events with all the success.

It’s rightly said that ‘Leaders are not born, they are made’. Year after year, it reminds us of the trust and confidence that we repose in our newly elected and selected students’ council members. To continue the legacy and to kindle the leadership qualities in our young prodigies the Investiture Ceremony was held on 17th August 2026 at Guru Harkrishan Public Schoo,Nanak Piao for the academic year 2026-27.

The event began with School Shabad. After that our worthy HOS  Ms. Jaswant Kaur administered the oath for the leaders and along with our respected Chairman S. Amritpal Singh Ji Vicky and other dignitaries pinned badges to the leaders as a sign of delegating responsibility to the newly elected office bearers. The program concluded with an air of enthusiasm and energy.

True stories of valour are not forgotten, they stay immortal in our hearts and in the pages of history. On 17th August 2026, GHPS, Nanak Piao organised a vibrant programme to celebrate 80 glorious years of India’s independence. One could witness students brimming with patriotic fervour and pride in their motherland as they presented powerful performances.
The school campus was beautifully decorated with tricolor flags and balloons, creating a festive atmosphere.
A variety of cultural programs, including patriotic songs, dances, and speech, were presented by students, showcasing their talents and highlighting the significance of freedom and the sacrifices of freedom fight.
Our worthy Chairman S. Amritpal Singh Vicky and many other esteemed dignitaries graced the celebration with their benign presence. Our respected HOS, Ms. Jaswant Kaur, addressed the audience, reminding everyone of the values and responsibilities that come with freedom. She urged students to work hard for the progress of the nation. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and a promise among all to serve the nation with dedication followed by National Anthem.
In the words of Mahatma Gandhi, “The future depends on what we do in the present!”
So, let’s pledge to make ourselves fair-minded, fearless and faithful. Jai Hind!!!

The Primary Segment celebrated Independence Day with great enthusiasm, patriotism, and creativity through a series of engaging hands-on activities. Students enthusiastically participated in a *Tie-and-Dye* activity on dupattas and handkerchiefs, beautifully incorporating the colours of the Indian National Flag. *They also showcased their artistic skills by creating the National Flag using ice cream sticks*, reflecting their imagination and love for the nation.

These activities not only enhanced the students’ creativity and fine motor skills but also instilled a deep sense of national pride, unity, and respect for the country’s heritage. The celebration was vibrant, joyful, and meaningful, making the occasion a memorable learning experience for all.
