Covalence: The Chemical Society of DDUC.

COVALENCE After years of anxious wait, the Department of Chemistry managed to get Chemistry Honors sanctioned. students also responded quite enthusiastically.

This brought in an air of freshness, change and generated a lot of enthusiasm amongst the faculty members. The department decided to constitute a separate Chemical Society, in addition to the Charak Sushrut Biochemical Society. It was quite pleasant to see that the first batch of Chemistry (Hons.) Activities of the society were initiated by holding elections for the office bearers of the society. This was followed by a competition for choosing a logo and name for the society. Students participated excitedly in the two competitions. While the department finally agreed on a name for the society that is 'COVALENCE', the search for the logo still continues.

IYC Concept Test in Chemistry (which aims at testing basic concept in chem ) will be held on 17 Dec 2011
Timing : 11am to 1pm
The test will be an objective paper of 2 hrs related to basic knowledge in chemistry.
Whosoever is interested plz fill d registration form available at Principal's PA (Sandeep sir) with Rs50 as registration fee.
Last date for registration is 14 Dec 2011

Prizes and scholarships will be given so all chem students plz participate in above mentioned test.

Ans also inform all ur friends abt dis test.
