The address and the subsequent discussions went on for 3.5 hours! I felt energised to see the energy and enthusiasm of young entrepreneurs in Nashik.

Hoping to work on scaling the Entrepreneur theme over the next couple of years. COF entrepreneurs would be typically folks who have grown up in villages anywhere in India and those who have experienced first-hand the challenges faced by farmers. COF entrepreneurs could be icons for aspirational village youth all over India.

Srinivas Waste Management Services Private Limited (SWMS) is a waste management company headquartered in Chennai, India. I visited their Chennai unit which converts MSW into bio CNG. Their input to the plant is hundred tonnes a day of msw mostly collected from hotels and canteens from offices and industrial stablishments, out of which interestingly ten tons per day is also Gobar collected from temples and other establishments nearby.. They produce around 4 tonnes of CNG per day, which is marketed to hotels and restaurants in Cascades, for vehicles and also to B2B buyers which includes large industries. They have planned CNG from biomass from Agriculture also.

BIOCNG has a great future in India!! Great to see success stories like SWMS.

Met Shri Raju B. Gadekar, a fellow agricos, yesterday at his unit. in Sangamner. He is the founder of Relegare Agro Life Bio Science Pvt Ltd The co was set up in 2017 but is built on its founder's two decades of experience in the agricultural sector. The company specializes in bio-pesticides, bio-fertilizers, and bio-fungicides derived from beneficial microbes, aiming to advance agricultural knowledge and technology for farmers' prosperity.

Despite its relatively recent establishment, Relegare Agro has quickly made a mark with its commitment to eco-friendly, non-toxic products. They maintain rigorous quality control throughout their processes, from manufacturing to packaging. The company proudly holds ISO 9001:2015 certification and Euro global certification for good manufacturing practices and 100% organic production. I was very impressed by the facility despite the company being relatively small.

Sad to hear about the passing away of Dr. SA Patil, a Chairman of our institutions and a pillar of support to many. His loss is irreparable to lakhs of farmers, students, teachers, agricultural scientists, and agri professionals. He was associated with our institutions in formal as well as informal capacities. He was one of the most kind persons I had ever known. He was helpful and generous to everyone who made any request of him. He had he put in a word for us with some agri input companies during our recent visit to Bangalore.

Let us all pray for his soul to rest in peace and attain sadgati!
