Why do we think conversations happen only through words?

Sometimes…,
“hmm” means - I’m hurt.
“take care” means - please stay.
And “I’m fine” quietly means - I needed you to ask once more.

Sometimes the late replies,
the deleted texts,
the sudden extra spaces between lines,
or someone typing … and never sending anything
speak louder than the actual message.

Even in books, the blank spaces between paragraphs carry emotion.
In music, the pause before the drop creates the feeling.
In relationships too, silence has its own language.

Not everything is meant to be heard.
Some things are meant to be noticed.

Nobody told you this!
