"We, the medical professionals at RG Medical College, are deeply shocked and concerned about the recent attack on our fellow doctors by a mob. Such acts of violence not only endanger the lives of those who dedicate themselves to saving others but also undermine the trust and safety that are essential in the healthcare environment.
Doctors work tirelessly, often under challenging conditions, to provide care and treatment to patients. Attacking healthcare workers is not only unjustifiable but also a grave violation of the sanctity of the medical profession.
We urge the authorities to take swift and decisive action to ensure the safety and security of all medical personnel. It is imperative that those responsible for these heinous acts are held accountable. We also call for stronger measures to prevent such incidents in the future, including increased security at medical facilities and public awareness campaigns about the critical role of healthcare providers.
We remain committed to our duty to care for our patients, but we need the support and protection of the community and the government to continue our work without fear of violence."
This statement reflects the gravity of the situation and the need for immediate action to protect medical professionals.
