The Department of Commerce, Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies (MAIMS) successfully organized an insightful Expert Session on “Understanding Your ITR: From Income to Tax Return” on 21 September 2026.

The session featured CA Vikash Patwari, Chartered Accountant, AI Enthusiast & AI Trainer, Founder & Managing Partner, Patwari Vikash & Associates, who engaged students in an informative discussion on sources of income, tax liability, ITR filing, tax planning, compliance, and common mistakes to avoid.

The session emphasized the importance of financial literacy and practical tax awareness, enabling students to connect classroom learning with real-world financial and professional practices.
