Capturing Happy Moments!

The word Durga, from the root word 'durgam' itself, embodies fearlessness.

Remaining true to our convictions in the face of each adversity, however, big or small it may be, gives us an unshakeable inner strength. The stronger we are from inside, the more fearless we are perceived on the outside.

Goddess Durga rides a tiger - it's a metaphor showing - A fearless being can go on to tame problems and situations even as fierce as a tiger and come out as the winner.

Just how one Goddess Durga binds millions of hearts together in worship and faith - be the glue, the link that binds people together. Unravelers lose their raison d'etre very quickly.

When we were kids we used to be very happy when we didn’t have any homework. Nowadays it's the mothers who are happier than the kids when the latter don’t have homework.😂
Now a days the schools are giving such complex projects & assignments to the learners which are quite difficult for them.
Most of the parents prefer to complete such tasks on their own instead of supporting their child in doing these tasks . As a result they submit the complex tasks to school for inspection of the class teacher who in the meanwhile has decided to serve as the judge, jury and executioner of the parents. And finally on the day of the PTM, the progress of the child in the class was intimated to the parents based on the hours of effort the parents had put in to make the child’s project.



Leaves us with some points to ponder, isn’t it?

We here at Holistic learning ensures that each & every child must have those skills of being an independent & confident individual. We provide them all the scaffolding required for the completion of their tasks. Instead of making their charts, models & posters we guide them and support them in completimg their tasks on their own.

Objects around us!!

Kids are fond of colours 🎨from their early age. There is hardly a child who doesn't like colours!

Have we ever tried to find out the reason of their attraction towards colour?🧐 Why they are so much into colours? 🤨Why they always pickup a crayon 🖍in their free time?

Doctors🩺 understand that color affects emotions, and can have a significant effect on developing children. Warmer colors like 🧡orange and yellow💛 bring happiness and comfort. Red❤️ has been known to increase the heart rate and therefore increase alertness and the appetite, while cooler colors like blue💙and green💚 tend to have a calming effect.

Not only kids but we as adults also feel the same connect with colours!!
So, let's celebrate 🎊this festival of colours with our loved ones and especially with all the kids around us!!
