1st VARDAN International Film Festival
Organized by the Directorate of Students’ Welfare & Dadhichi Deh Dan Samiti, GGSIPU
With the core theme of Organ Donation, this festival aims to spread awareness and inspire meaningful conversations through cinema and creative expression.
As part of the festival, the following competitions will be conducted:
• Poem Recitation Competition (Literary Club)
• Poster Making Competition (Fine Arts Club)
Students are encouraged to actively participate and showcase their creativity for a noble cause. Participation certificates will be provided to all.

Students of the University School of Automation & Robotics attended Lenovo Tech World ’26 India Edition, held at JW Marriott, Delhi Aerocity, on 11th February 2026.
The visit provided valuable exposure to emerging technologies, industry innovations, and real-world applications, enriching students’ academic and professional perspectives through direct interaction with leaders from the technology ecosystem.

The Staff Development Cell (SDC), Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University successfully organized a One-Day Workshop on “POSH at Workplace: Awareness & Responsibilities” on 3rd February 2026 at the East Delhi Campus.
The workshop focused on enhancing awareness of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) Act, 2013, promoting a culture of dignity, respect, inclusivity, and accountability within the university ecosystem. The sessions witnessed active participation from teaching and non-teaching staff and included insightful discussions on workplace conduct, reporting mechanisms, and the role of the Internal Complaints Committee.

The Directorate of Students’ Welfare, East Delhi Campus organised the Zone-1 Prelims of Anugoonj 2026 from 19ᵗʰ to 21ˢᵗ January 2026 at the East Delhi Campus, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
The three-day event witnessed vibrant participation across cultural, literary, fine arts, and performing arts categories, bringing together talented students from the Dwarka Campus and East Delhi Campus. The prelims were conducted through the coordinated efforts of the faculty judges, Student Council, and dedicated student volunteers.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all the judges for taking out their valuable time and commend all students for their enthusiastic participation. Kudos to all the winners and participants for making the event a grand success.
Anugoonj 2026 continues to celebrate creativity, collaboration, and the vibrant campus culture of GGSIPU.
